Cílem této bakalářské práce je zanalyzovat vstup firmy Vaisala Oyj na český trh, upozornit na největší problémy při vstupu na tento trh a zhodnotit její úspěchy na českém trhu. Dále ověřit hypotézy, zda firma Vaisala vstoupila na český trh ve správný čas a se správnou obchodní politikou stejně jako, jestli byl tento vstup správným rozhodnutím. Vlastní text je rozdělen do sedmi kapitol. První kapitola pojednává obecně o finské firmě Vaisala. Druhá kapitola se věnuje její obchodní strategii a zahrnuje rovněž oblasti podnikání. Kapitola třetí poukazuje na největší světové konkurenty této společnosti. Čtvrtá kapitola se soustředí na vlastnosti finského a českého národa, jejich společné i rozdílné rysy a rovněž se zabývá firemní kulturou firmy Vaisala. Kapitola pátá analyzuje vstup této severské firmy na český trh. Následující kapitola, tj. šestá, rozebírá pozici firmy Vaisala na českém trhu, její přístup k zákazníkům a zejména podíly na trhu v jednotlivých oblastech jejího působení. Poslední, sedmá, kapitola představuje možnosti finské firmy Vaisala na českém trhu v budoucnosti. Práce čerpá zejména z interních zdrojů firmy Vaisala a jejího obchodního zastoupení pro Českou republiku, dále pak z internetových a knižních zdrojů. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse Vaisala Oyj's entry into the Czech market, to point out the greatest problems connected with the entry and to assess its success in this market. Next, verify the hypothesis whether the company Vaisala entered the Czech market at the right time, with the right business policy and if it was a good decision. The text is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is focused on the Finnish company Vaisala in general. The following part contains business strategy and business areas of this company. Next chapter, the third one, points out the biggest Vaisala's competitors worldwide. The fourth chapter describes characteristics of Finnish and Czech nations, their common and different features and also corporate culture of the Vaisala company. The following chapter analyses the entrance of this company into the Czech market. The sixth part analyses Vaisala's position in the Czech Republic and its attitude to customers and its shares in individual branches. The last chapter represents opportunities of the Vaisala company in the Czech market in the future. This thesis derives information especially from internal sources of the Vaisala company and its business representative for the Czech Republic and also from internet and book sources.
