The system and the financing system of psychiatric care in the Czech Republic in the period 2010-2016
Křížová, Natálie ; Lukášová, Tereza (advisor) ; Bartůsková, Lucia (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on mental health, which is becoming a socio-economic problem these days. Since there is a constant prevalence of patients with mental illnesses and thus an increase of a burden in the economic system, this work explains the system of psychiatric care, which is crucial for the future development of mental health of Czech population. Based on the analysis of the issue it is evident that the effort to manage the care system to community care will do not contribute to the reduction of treatment costs, but on the other hand, will facilitate the accessibility to psychiatric facilities for patients. The funding of psychiatric care is not based on the national health system, which influences the direction of a large part of the funds for treatment in psychiatric hospitals.

I wrote about ethicotheraphy because I'm interested in psychosomatic view of diseases in my work. In the first part I focused on a historical view of connection among body, soul and health. There are also chapters in which I introduced history of psychosomatic approach and ethicotheraphy generally with its methodical approach. In the second part I compared a relationships between the doctors with their patients and the ethicotherapists with their clients was compared, too. I described the ways of work in the ethicotheraphy and their clients and I mentioned a profit of disease. In the third part I wrote about a cancer in ethicotheraphy view. The possibilities of influencing walking stereotypes with botulinum toxin
Kolářová, Edita ; Angerová, Yvona (advisor) ; Pochylová, Barbora (referee)
Title: The possibilities of influencing walking stereotypes with botulinum toxin Abstract: The thesis is focused on finding opportunities to influence the walking stereotype of patients suffering from spasticity of the lower limbs by botulinum toxin. The aim of thesis is to compare the quality of walking stereotype of these patients before and after the application of botulinum toxin by using a standardized test intended to evaluate the walk and based on the results to evaluate the effect of botulinum toxin on the walking stereotype. While reading the theoretical part the reader is familiar with the basic concepts related to the problems such as spasticity, botulinum toxin and walking stereotype. The scales evaluating the muscle tone are subsequently described (The Modified Ashworth scale, The Tardieu Scale) and of course the scales evaluating the walking stereotype are also mentioned (Rancho Los Amigos Gait Analysis Form, Gait Assessment Rating Scale, Rivermead Visual Gait Assessment, Tinetti Balance And Gait Evaluation). Scales evaluating the walking stereotype are also described in detail at thesis, their pros and cons are highlighted and upon the preferences of the author, one of these scales is selected to be applied in the practical part. The practical part is composed of case studies of two patients...

The Impact of the Grundtvig Programme on the Functioning of Further Education Institutions in the Czech Republic and on the services they provide
Těžká, Štěpána ; Pělucha, Martin (advisor) ; Kouřilová, Jana (referee)
The thesis evaluates the impact of the Grundtvig programme on Czech further education institutions in the medium term. The first part presents the concept of further education as a soft factor of regional development and also the applied research methods. The next section presents the Czech and European lifelong learning strategies and the programme is shown as a part of the Lifelong Learning Programme and as one of the financial instruments of the EU. The main part of the paper presents the analysis of the use of the Grundtvig programme by the Czech institutions and the impacts on them assessed by a questionnaire survey among supported institutions. The work identified a major impact on the organizations in the area of know-how transfer from abroad, while in the area of networking or creation of innovative outputs identified impacts were minimal.

Welding of high strenght steel by laser
Číp, Tomáš ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
This project, elaborated within the engineering studies (code of field of study: N2301), presents experiment of welding of high-strength steel by laser. In this project, the samples of high-strength steel DOMEX 420MC will be welded by laser welding method and the welded joints will then be compared with welds made by MAG method. The theoretical part of this project summarizes the following key words in individual chapters: lasers, technology of welding of steel using laser, welding by MAG method, steel with higher strength, types of defects and check of welded joints. The practical part contains description of and assessment of mechanical tests of welded joints – weld bending test and transverse tension test. Further on, the tests of macrostructure and microstructure of welded joints were conducted and assessed. Final results of whole experiment are reviewed at the end of my diploma thesis.

Simulation of the operation of the hospital department
Olejár, Filip ; Dlouhý, Martin (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the solution to a real situation that occurred at Nemocnice Na Františku in Prague. The problem is solved by using a computer simulation in SIMUL8 simulation program. At the beginning I describe the theoretical foundations that are afterwards used as a basis for the main practical part. The main subject of the work is a simulation of an operation of the hospital outpatient department. The hospital management decided to change the system for handling patients operations. I have created simulation models for particular workday and weekend means of patients serving operations. The created simulation models and their outputs are evaluated in the final part of the thesis and will serve as a basis for making reorganization decisions in the hospital. The provided advice for hospital management fulfills the goal of this thesis.

Diving diseases
Rejdovjan, Simon ; Hrnčíř, Evžen (advisor)
This thesis mentions the basic physiological and physical principles of diving, it deals with diseases and injuries that occur in the connection with diving. The diseases are divided according to the phase of the diving as follows: The diseases originating from the change of surrounding pressure, diseases connected with staying in the depth and diseases stemmed after emersing above the surface of the water. Deeply elaborated chapter about Decompression disease includes a scale of predispositioning factors to this disablement. Next it mentions diseases that are not connected with the change of surrounding pressure. This part of my thesis describes the different forms of poisoning by enhaled gases, infectious diseases, drowning, hypothermia, hypoxia and it also includes an extended chapter that deals with sea animals and their potentional danger for human organism. The work also references to some preventive processes which can minimalize the risks of occurence of these diseases and injuries.
