Design of the secondary city utility tunnel with an emphasis on protection against ingress of groundwater
Vrána, Tomáš ; Černý, Vít (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
In the first part, the master’s thesis deals with the history of utility tunnels, methods of construction processes and materials from which they are built. It also mentions methods and materials which protect against the effects of groundwater. The thesis is mainly dedicated to the design and structural design of the secondary utility tunnel lining with an emphasis on protection against ingress of groundwater. The mathematical model was created in Plaxis 2DAE software.
The assessment of existing industry hall structure
Hamrlík, Martin ; Chalabala, Jiří (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is focused on an assessment of existing industry hall structure of a rectangular floor plan. The supporting system design consists of a precast reinforced concrete skeleton. The aim of this work is to determine the structure of the expected loading of a new crane runway. The subjects of assesment are columns, girder of crane runway, short corbel and concrete foot. In other part of the project is designed reinforcement nonconforming elements. The work includes the development od structural analysis, drawing of hall structure and reinforcement drawings of reconstructed elements.
Reconstruction of the railway tunnel
Nekl, Jiří ; Horák, Vlastimil (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis engages in the reconstruction of railway tunnel Domasovsky that is situated at the track section Olomouc – Krnov. It illustrates the current state of the construction and the geotechnical conditons of the area of interest, it also presents the potencial solutions. The design is verified by stuructural analysis, the design documentation and technical report are also enclosed.
Possibilities of determination of the correlation relations for the strength characteristics of shotcrete
Liška, Marek ; Dufka,, Ámos (referee) ; Hubáček, Adam (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the possibility of establishing correlation relationships for the strength characteristics of sprayed concrete. The aim of the thesis is to study the fundamental properties of sprayed concrete recipes. An important point of the thesis will bemade by spraying concrete compared with concrete made with laboratory pressure. Based on the achieved results will be compiled correlation equations for a given set of concrete.
Evaluating the quality of implementation of the hand shotcrete
Kopecký, Lukáš ; Schmid, Pavel (referee) ; Svoboda,, Pavel (referee) ; Dočkal, Karel (advisor)
Currently, the high speed and low price are required for construction works in the modern architecture. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with verifying the quality of the constructions. Dissertation thesis is focused on evaluating the quality of the execution of sprayed concrete without accelerating additives applied by spraying by a dry way manually-sprayed. The quality of shotcrete was judged on the basis of standardized both non-destructive and destructive methods using sprayed samples. The quality of shotcrete was assessed in terms of strength of sprayed concrete in pressure, density and homogeneity judged on the basis of the velocity of sound samples. The destructive method was carried out on the core samples which were pressured on the hydraulic press, as the non-destructive method was used ultrasonic passageway method based on the propagation velocity of the ultrasonic pulse. On the basis of our results and their mutual correlations, it has been proposed the modifications of the general equal used for predicting the strength of the sprayed concrete tested by our strength class, which leads to a potential reduction in the number of cores on the real structure, and therefore reduce the price of implementation of qualitative tests and increase effectiveness of carrying out tests on the construction place.
Study of the development, trends and innovations in shotcrete technology
Záruba, Jiří ; Hela, Vlastimil (referee) ; Hubáček, Adam (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis is focused on the study of development, trends and innovations in shotcrete technology. The main target of this thesis is to summarize new procedures in shotcrete technology. Secondary targets include a description of basic properties of sprayed concrete, introducing new trends and technology in recent years. The next sub-goal is to propose experiment that will try new ways of testing shotcrete. Based on these secondary targets is possible to evaluate the current situation in shotcrete technology and fulfil the main objective of this thesis.
The Issue of testing shotcrete
Škapová, Pavla ; Hela,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Hubáček, Adam (advisor)
The master‘s thesis focuses on testing the shotcrete prepared in laboratory conditions. The main observed properties are compresive strenght of shotcrete and modulus of elasticity. The aim is assessment of methods for measuring those parameters. The calibrating correlations for strenght characteristics of shotcrete are given by obtaining the results of used methods. The shotcrete composition, amount and type of accelerating additive as well as economic aspect of using shotcrete is also assessed.
Architectural and technological project of a residential building in Brno
Malaník, Jan ; Kopecký, Lukáš (referee) ; Novotný, Michal (advisor)
The thesis contains analysis earthworks, foundations, carcass substructure of residential house on the street Kopečná 9 in Brno. The work also includes gradual changes in site equipment, detailed schedule of work for selected works, rough schedule of the whole building, construction budget, site equipment budget and details of construction. Specialization in the work addresses the specific use of roads and traffic signs.
Possibilities of using different types of admixtures in shotcrete technology
Berčík, Martin ; Brožovský, Jiří (referee) ; Hubáček, Adam (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis is conceived in the form of research findings on current knowledge of inert and active ingredients and their effects on the shotcrete. It focuses mainly on the composition of individual ingredients, their function executing in the concrete mix and explains how they affect the selected physical and mechanical properties. The work enlightes the importance of using co-products from the industry production as an additive to concrete in terms of both ecological and partly economical.
Possibilities of increasing the durability of shotcrete
Merta, Michael ; Dufka,, Amos (referee) ; Hubáček, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with an issue of shotcrete and possibilities of increasing its durability. Theoretical part of the thesis is conceived in a form of summary of current knowledge concerning shotcrete. The emphasis is mainly on the possibilities of using shotcrete in exposure classes XA and XF. The experimental part focuses on laboratory testing of shotcrete. Waterproofness of shotcrete, its surface resistance to water and chemical de-icing agents was tested with regard to a development of its compresive strength during maturation.
