Traffic situations model
Krampoťák, Štefan ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with analyze of camera system in real traffic, using these system and realization of traffic situation model. Result of this work is fully functional model of traffic situation, which shows the capability of these camera systems in real traffic. It consists of two basic parts, the first is physical model of traffic with semaphore and second part is control program with algorithm for detection of traffic offences. The system contains speed measurement and red light violation. Model has capable of control the speed of cars, control semaphores and configure cameras.

Measuring unit of electric power quality
Teplan, Miroslav ; Mrákava, Petr (referee) ; Mlýnek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes the parameters of electrical energy with a focus on low voltage characteristics and their measurement with respect to the parameters required by standards. In addition, one chapter deals with monitoring of the quality electric energy. Measurement organizations, calculation of power quality and the data collection for its calculation is referred here. For the illustration, the example of a distributed monitoring system from practice is described. The second part deals with the design and implementation of a module for measuring power quality , namely by measuring the voltage characteristics. It describes the selection of the chosen solution, hardware part and firmware for the MCU. To display the measured data, application was created by the Java programming language. The application allows the visualization of the voltage measured Low voltage grid with single phase voltage RMS value 230.
Monitoring of environmental parameters in buldings
Slovák, Martin ; Číp, Ondřej (referee) ; Václavík, Vlastimil (advisor)
Aim of work is project system for monitoring environmental parameters in buildings. Theoretical part of work deals with parameters, which will be monitoring, why we measure those parameters in buildings. And what devices can we choose to do it. Measurement channel describes from change of physical value to electric value, after that there is a correction to processing by microcontroller. And those values are sending by microcontroller to other processing. The best solution to distant transmission is probably ZigBee technology. Practice part of work is in keeping with theoretical part. There are some practical sensor connections, where is difference in output of sensor. It’s necessary to project connections of sensor and do their software services. There is a simple tool to programming microcontrollers, which is called CodeWarrior. In last part is solution of algorithm, which make net by ZigBee technology.
Sensors for decentralized system of water purification
Plotěný, Miroslav ; Mácha, Tomáš (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
Main task of the Master Thesis is to study and propose appropriate sensors that can monitor standard operations of small waste treatment plant. This small plants may replace one big central waste water treatment plant, minimizing interference with the human factor and thus reducing the cost of its operation. Master Thesis deals with the sensors for level measurement, air flow, identifying the operator and others. The most important parameter is the quality of drainage water, which can be derived from the amount of ammoniacal nitrogen. This work discusses the possibility of continuous measurements of ammoniacal nitrogen in water and try to select the optimum solution. At the end of the work is carried out experimental measurements are selected ammonia probe to verify the practical features.
Monitoring Application for Multicast sessions
Kopecký, Martin ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This work deals with a monitoring application for multicast sessions. The general aim is to develop the application for monitoring multicast sessions from network elements of a laboratory computer network. The first part describes possibilities of monitoring computer networks in terms of monitoring techniques and protocols. The second part contains a topology of the laboratory computer network and several basic commands for setting of the multicast in Cisco IOS. The third part is devoted to the developed application for monitoring the multicast in Java language. The last part describes the testing on an actual multicast network and an example of such testing is stated there.
Analysis of LAN Network followed by Simulation in Opnet Modeler Environment
Skopal, Jakub ; Růčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the exploration of possibilities of LAN analysis with the use of the hardware analyzer Finisar TGHs from the Finisar Corporation Company. As a monitored network was choosed the local computer network in the laboratory PA-249 at the Department of Telecommunications, which is located at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology. All results acquired from the complex long-term monitoring of the choosed LAN network are described in this thesis. Further, the thesis is focused on the simulation and analysis of the model of this network that was created in the simulation environment Opnet Modeler. The data obtained from the real LAN monitoring were used as a basis of an operating simulation of the transmission abilities and features of the real LAN network. The last part of the thesis describes the verification of the transmission capabilities and characteristics of the real LAN. Verification was performed in Opnet Modeler, where the network has been analyzed in detail.
System for Serial Communication Monitoring
Perný, Jan ; Kováč, Michal (referee) ; Kolouch, Jaromír (advisor)
There is a need for a serial communication testing tool when software or hardware developers have to solve serial communication problems. This tool must accurately catch and record the whole communication. Some type of timestamps in the record is necessary for future analysis. This diploma thesis deals with programming a serial communication monitoring equipment software with the possibility of the insertion of timestamps. Possible timestamps types and inserting methods are also discussed. The programmed monitoring software for the FOX Board hardware platform is able to catch and record the serial communication at RS232 ports and add timestamps to the record in accordance to three independent rules. The record is saved to a standard USB flash drive.
Monitoring of GSM network
Trávníček, Tomáš ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Koutný, Martin (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on problems of monitoring GSM network using a mobile phone. Problems are analyzed on a theoretic basis with a description of available network parameters. Then the thesis offers a description of existing application environments providing a user with given data about the network. The main part of this work describes a development of application compiling queue data from mobile network and GPS, and creates output data illustrating signal strength in selected areas. The work also includes extensive measuring in select areas together with an evaluation of the processed data.
