Sapozhnikova, Irina ; Plášil, Jiří (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the architectural design of the Community Leisure Center for youth in the historic part of the city of Vyškov. The center is conceived as multi-purpose and tries to connect spaces for leisure time, relaxation, physical and emotional rest, independent work, education or workshops in order to best meet the needs and expectations of the residents. My project offers young people a place where they can discover their potential, realize their interests and simply a place where they can always just enjoy their leisure time. A comfortable and attractive modern architectural space can serve as an incentive to visit it and develop the cultural level of the young generation. The proposed site is located in close proximity to the castle complex, within the boundaries of the Municipal heritage zones. Therefore, this is a proposal for the construction of a new building in a historical environment.

Youth mentoring involves matching a young person who may be experiencing social, economic, or personal challenges with a volunteer mentor who serves as a positive role model, providing guidance, support, and encouragement. The mentoring relationship usually lasts for a specific period, such as a year or more, and may involve regular meetings or activities between the mentor and mentee. The goal of youth mentoring is to assist young people in developing the skills, confidence and resilience they need to overcome obstacles, challenges and achieve their full potential. In this system, when the views are oriented south toward the lake, is a territory that differs in structure from the rest of the city. The valley in which the river flowed Flon in the 19th century were filled on a flat surface vzikly industrial buildings with rational structure that crossed the railroad.

The master's thesis focuses on the nature of volunteering in a traditional interest organization, specifically the Czech Tourist Club. The aim is to identify the specifics of volunteering in this organization, including whether the examined organization faces issues typical for traditional organizations and their impacts. The research also explores how the Czech Tourist Club addresses the identified problems. Data for the study are sourced from interviews with organization employees and volunteers, a questionnaire survey conducted within the Czech Tourist Club, and documents of the organization. The research yields significant insights into volunteering within a traditional interest organization. The findings confirm challenges faced by traditional organizations related to aging of their members and declining membership. Moreover, the results offer new perspectives on volunteering in this type of organization and volunteering in general. Changing life values and attitudes among individuals result in volunteers having different priorities and expectations, emphasizing the need for organizations to adapt and align with societal changes. Keywords: Volunteering, traditional interest organization, membership base, aging members, youth, civil society
