Sports Center
Murínová, Bohuslava ; Utíkal, Aleš (referee) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)
The subject of the master’s thesis is the development of project documentation for the construction of a Sports Center located in Liberec. The building is designed as partially basemented with two above-ground floors. The main entrance to the building is visually separated from the rest of the structure. Its shelter is formed by a balcony structure, which also serves as a space for a 3D logo. In the first above-ground floor, there is a gym with a reception, offices, separate changing rooms for women and men, and three rooms for strength training. The rooms are divided according to the types of training, such as conditioning, strength, cardio, etc. In the second above-ground floor, there is a yoga studio with a separate reception, a staff lounge, separate changing rooms for women and men, and three rooms for yoga practice. The room with a smaller area for yoga practice serves for more private lessons or massages. In the respective receptions, there are areas for exhibiting items for sale. In the basement, the technical facilities of the building and storage rooms are located. The foundation of the structure consists of concrete strips. The ceiling structures are reinforced concrete. The roofing is solved with a flat roof with an extensive green layer. The walls are made of ceramic polished masonry elements, except for the perimeter walls of the basement, which are made of formwork lost blocks. The building is insulated with an External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS).

Firehouse - station type P1
Tuza, Ondřej ; Burianová, Lenka (referee) ; Kacálek, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis solves creating of the layout study and creation of documentation for the realization of a new fire station. In the building, the location of the JPO I rescue units is considered. The territorial jurisdiction is usually considered to be within 20 minutes of dislocation. The category of the fire station will be considered as P1. The object consists of two structurally and functionally different parts. The first part is designed as a one-storey reinforced concrete skeleton roofed with pre-stressed ceiling panels. This section includes technical background and garages. The cladding of the skeletal part of the building is solved by a masonry block made of lime-sand blocks with external thermal insulation composite system. The second part is walled from lime-sand blocks with external thermal insulation composite system. There are spaces of administrative and operational character. This section has two above-ground floors. The ground plan is fractured, the maximum dimensions are 45.59 x 28.34 m. The building has no basement, roofed only with flat roofs. The object is situated in the peripheral locality of Příbor, the terrain is slightly sloping.
New external thermal insulation composite system taking in to account the sustainable use of natural resources
Sokola, Lubomír ; Rovnaníková, Pavla (referee) ; Vejmelková,, Eva (referee) ; Nosek,, Karel (referee) ; Žižková, Nikol (advisor)
The work is focused on the development of an environmentally friendly external thermal insulation composite system in terms of product composition and composition of the whole system. The intention is to develop an alternative to standard external thermal insulation composite systems. Undoubtely, standard systems have a contribution to energy savings (primary role), but their actual production and composition is also a burden on the environment. The research is focused onthe development of adhesive and leveling substance and plaster using progressive material with phase transformation and energy by-product (fly ash). Furthermore, it is focused on the selection of insulation from renewable sources. Therefore, there is paid attention to the overall composition of the thermal insulation system in order to achieve the most effective impact with respect to the environment. The goal is to achieve secondary energy and resource savings due to the composition of components and also the composition of the entire system.
Health center
Dawid, Lukáš ; Hazucha, Juraj (referee) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
Diploma thesis designs a barrier free new building of medical devices – policlinic (health center) with 14 medical workplaces. Object has three floors and basement. The building is covered by a vegetation flat roof. Building of policlinic is based on strip foundations and load-bearing walls are made from sand-lime blocks. Horizontal systém is created like reinforced concrete ceiling and in the same way internal staircase. The building is design at passive architecture – have compact form, thick layer of insulation and airtight cover. The main glass facade is oriented to the sout. There is used heat recovery air conditioning and heat pumping for heating in building. Health center satisfy currently legislation.
Realization of Reduction of Energy Consumption of Museum in Horni Studenec
Kazda, Jiří ; Lukášková, Jana (referee) ; Mohapl, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes the realization of thermal insulation of Museum in Horni Studenec. The part of this stage is a montage of new windows and entrance doors, thermal insulation of foundation, plinth and external walls. The thermal insulation is designed using external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS). The thesis handles with technological prescription, assessment of transport itineraries, itimized budget with statement of quantities, design of site equipment, construction schedule, inventory of machines, control and test plan and occupational safety and health. In the last chapter of the thesis, there is described a mechanical anchoring system of thermal insulation, the comparison of the standard types and design of dowels, which are suitable for use in the realization of thermal insulation of the building facility.
Study of moisture conditions in the facade wall after application of the ETICS
Ševčíků, Robin ; Steuer,, Radek (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
In the last decades the application of ETICS (external thermal insulation composite system) became a popular measure to improve the energy performance and the weather resistance of facades in the building stock. However, hand in hand with that the problem of microorganisms such as algae and fungi on facades has substantially increased in re-cent years. One of the main reasons is the interaction of climate influences with modern compositions of thermal insulation systems resulting besides of large thermal and mois-ture loads in occurrences of green covers of algae on facade surfaces. The algae popula-tion on facades with ETICS is supported by the sufficient humidity, caused by the night temperature decrease of surface to the dew-point temperature and by consequent con-densation of vapour. The thermal radiation against clear night sky is responsible for the origin of this periodically repeated phenomenon. This bachelor’s thesis is concentrated to the description of available knowledge in this field and explains the phenomenons by means of principles of building physics. Moreover, at the end, in the practical part, there are presented the results of author’s own measurements concerning determination of basic properties of commonly used fa-cade materials (spectral emissivity, absorbing power), important with regard to the sub-ject of the thesis.

Apartment building
Stehlík, Štěpán ; Svoboda, David (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
This abstract summarizes the main points of the bachelor's thesis. The aim was to create a comprehensive design for a new apartment building, with a focus on incorporating architectural, urbanistic, and technical requirements in accordance with current legislation and technical standards. The project documentation includes detailed drawings, structural composition proposals, product listings, and solutions regarding acoustics, daylighting, and thermal engineering. The documentation also provides information about the layout of individual residential units, common areas of the building, technical facilities, and the concept of ventilation, heating, and hot water supply. The goal was to create a high-quality and sustainable living environment. The surrounding buildings consist of family houses or apartment buildings with flat roofs, with a maximum height of 12 meters from the adjacent terrain. The new construction has been designed taking this into account. The building is partially basement with stepped foundation structures, comprising one underground level and three above-ground levels. It is situated on its own plot of land. The roof is a flat non-accesible roof (intended only for inspections and maintenance purposes), and the ceilings are made of monolithic reinforced concrete. The vertical load-bearing structures are made of therm-type ceramic blocks. The building insulation is implemented using an External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS). Additionally, parking spaces for the residents are provided on the plot of land.
