Design of metasurfaces for advanced optical elements
Březina, Tomáš ; Kvapil, Michal (referee) ; Hrtoň, Martin (advisor)
Metasurfaces represent an intriguing class of materials with a wide range of promising applications, one of them being advanced planar optical elements for industrial production and imaging. The main goal of this thesis is to design such an optical element, namely a beam-shaper consisting of dielectric anostructures in HCTA (high constrast transmitarray) arrangement. The first part of this work introduces a simplified theoretical model of the optical response of building blocks that facilitates understanding of the basic functional mechanism behind the phase metasurfaces. To quantify the optical response of dielectric building blocks with enough precision, numerical FDTD simulations were employed. As a result, a database compatible with lithographic fabrication procedures was created. To find the phase distribution ensuring the desired beam-shaping function, two approaches were investigated and implemented: the semi-analytical method of geometric transformation and the iterative Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm. The final output of this work is then the distribution of building blocks within the metasurface that imprints into the impinging beam the previously calculated phase profile.
Apartment building
Růžička, Filip ; Blažková, Vendula (referee) ; Daněk, Lukáš (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the processing of project documentation for a new residential building in Líšeň. The residential building is designed as a five-story fully basement structure. The underground floor contains collective garages and cellar compartments. The first above-ground floor contains rental spaces. The second, third, and fourth above-ground floors consist of residential units. A total of 30 residential units have been designed. The topmost fifth above-ground floor contains studios. The building has a flat roof with a parapet. The structural system of the building is primarily skeletal, connecting reinforced concrete monolithic walls that form the load-bearing part as perimeter walls. Another structurally significant element is the structural core with an elevator shaft. The horizontal load-bearing structures consist of reinforced concrete ceiling slabs. The entire building is founded on a white tank. The bachelor's thesis includes project documentation for the construction implementation.
NEW ON THE „OLD“ – Brno, Bratislavská - Stará Corner
Hrubá, Lenka ; Veselá, Markéta (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor work is made of corner building near to down town of Brno city. In contrast to traditions I open this area to public.
Masonry family house
Pěkný, Jiří ; Balúch, Tomáš (referee) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is composing project documentation for a brick family house. Building consista of two upground levels and a cellar. New building will be built in village Tover. It will serve as a full time house for four-person family. Main entrance and inbound to the object is on the first floor level from local comunication. House is cube-shaped with adjacent garage for two cars. Vertical supports will be made of ceramic brickwork with contact isolating system ETICS. Ceilings will be made of MIAKO system and roof is seat-shaped with ceramic covering. Project will be composed in AutoCAD program.
Flat House
Jakubčík, Lukáš ; Novotný, Miloslav (referee) ; Novotný, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the design of detached apartment building in Mikulov. The apartment building is set into the sloping terrain of the town of Mikulov and consists of one basement and four above-ground floors. From the first to third above-ground floors two residential units with balconies are designed, on the top fourth floor is one spacious residential unit with access to the outdoor terrace. The floors are serviced by a staircase supplemented by an elevator in a separate elevator shaft. The building uses a structural system of ceramic parts for vertical and horizontal structures, part of the foundation structure is made of lost formwork. The roof of the building is warm flat roof. The bachelor´s thesis contains project documentation for the construction.
Residential building
Šeps, Daniel ; Bartlová, Jana (referee) ; Vajkay, František (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design of a new building of a detached apartment building in Nová Paka in the form of project documentation for construction. The buiding is designed brick with reinforced concrete ceilings. Perimeter walls on the 1st – 3rd floor is designed ceramic brick blocks th. 300 mm with contact thermal insulation system ETICS th. 200mm, which will be equipped with silicone plaster 1,5mm. Perimeter walls on the underground floor is designed permanent shuttering DITTON 30 th. 300mm, filled with concrete C20/25 XC1 and by steel B500B insulated with extruded polystyrene XPS th. 160mm. Internal load-bearing masonry wall is designed with acoustic ceramic brick blocks th. 250 mm. Partitions are designed from acoustic partition walls. On the ceilings is a hardwood flooring because of excellent acoustic characteristics. The roof is designed as a flat green roof with extensive vegetation and with thermal isolation of minera wool and with waterproofing layer made of bituminous modified SBS strips laid in two layers. Balcony railing is designed aluminous with safety glass paneling.
Small apartment house
Doseděl, Adam ; Šoulová, Eva (referee) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of small apartment building in Prostějov. It is a detached building with basement. The apartment building has one basement and four above. Consists of a total of 15 residential units. On first floor are situated three flats and on second, third and fourth floor are four residential units. The building is designed of structural systém of ceramic blocks. The ceilings are from monolithic and the roof is designed as a pitched roof. The work includes project documentation for the construction.
Detached house with shop of cloths and haberdashery in Praha - Libuš
Dvořáková, Hana ; Kučera, Radim (referee) ; Štěpánek, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is a project of a multi-storey detached house with shop of cloth and haberdashery in Prague. The house is designed for two families. The shop is located in the 1st floor and is functionally completely independent of the operation of the residential part. The entrance of the shop is located on the main street. The entrance to the residential part is on side street. The rooms are oriented to the southwest. The building has walls made of ceramic blocks Porotherm, the ceiling and the stairs are monolithic reinforced concrete. The project was worked out in a training version of Autocad, the editions were processed in the Archicad program. During processing the emphasis was on architectural and layout solutions, static requirements and safety in use.
Family House Andovce
Tóth, Adrián ; Tichomirov, Vladimír (referee) ; Novotný, Miloslav (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is two-storey reinforced concrete basement house. The building plot is located in Andovce. The House is designed with the view of the location. The House will be used for living of a family of four members. The plan view of the House will be used for living of a family of four members. The plan view of the House is almost rectangular. The main entrance and the driveway to the House is at 1st floor level. The vertical walls are formed by a concret system with thermal insulation sheathed on both sides of wood chip boards. The ceiling structure is made of concrete beams. The detached house is covered with three shed roofs. The project was prepared by a computer program called Autocad.
To Dvur Kralove by train - Transfer Terminal in Dvur Kralove nad Labem
Hudečková, Kristína ; Růžička, Tomáš (referee) ; Ponešová, Barbora (advisor)
The terminal represents joining two things – an internal and an external – a city and a surroundings. The intetion of my bachelor thesis is to connect fluently a main hiking trail from a center of city with a bus service and train transport. To make this connection as natural as possible, the proposal of terminal is based on a mass concentration in a point of joint and gradual diffusion towards the the city and the surroundings. The terminal is designed as a longitudinal structure with a one communication in the middle of the layout. The space of terminal is defined by twenty steel frames arranged one behind the other in the direction of the axis of connection between train track and hiking trail from the center of the city. The steel frame becomes the dominant element of the terminal. Different closing of sections between particular frames creates spaces of different characters and a different rate of permeability.
