Fiducial Marker-Based Localization System
Hála, David ; Horeličan, Tomáš (referee) ; Gábrlík, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with localization of the robot in space using optical markers. In the first part of the thesis, the reader is introduced to the problems and pitfalls of this project and all the important connections, both mathematical and physical, are explained. The second part then focuses on the description of the procedure that was chosen to design the program and the ideas that led to its completion.
Validation of the tool for localization of symmetrical and asymmetrical faults
Šmehlík, Daniel ; Jurák, Viktor (referee) ; Topolánek, David (advisor)
Disturbances in power systems that can cause widespread outages and limit power supply require rapid detection, location and elimination. Earth faults and short circuits, each with their own complications for localization, pose significant challenges to power operations. This thesis focuses on the validation of Vdip, a tool designed to efficiently locate these faults. The tool was tested in two simulation environments, RTDS and PSCAD, to simulate different fault scenarios and record data for analysis. These tests provided important information for evaluating the effectiveness of Vdip.
Route control
Dolobáč, Dávid ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis sets itself the task to detect geometric changes, located on a previously known route, which is considered as a template or pattern. Geometric changes represent rigid transformations of objects in a scene, specifically their rotation, displacement and their combinations. Another type of change is the addition of new or removal of original objects. The original route is captured with a monocular camera and by using methods of photogrammetry, a 3D model of a scene in a point representation is reconstructed from the video sequence. In the same manner, a 3D model of the scene containing changes is created, but this model captures only the local section of the original route. This local point cloud is registered in the 3D model of the original route, so that the 3D models can be directly compared with each other. The investigated space is divided into cubic voxels of the same size which are successively traversed and the degree of similarity of local surfaces is investigated for each of them. The solution results in 3D points from both clouds marked as changed or unchanged. The mentioned methods are tested on real data in scenarios with different geometric modifications of the scene and the evaluation of change detection is implemented as in the case of a binary classifier.
Setting up marketing communication in the franchise system in the context of localization of individual outlets
KOLOUCH, Marek
The subject of this bachelor thesis is to find the optimal balance between centrally managed marketing strategies and the individual needs of each outlets within the Potrefená husa franchise network. The research includes an analysis of the current the state of marketing communication across the Potrefená husa franchise network, an investigation into customer food preferences within specific outlets and an interview with a representative of manager of selected branches. The results of the quantitative and qualitative analysis showed that the Potrefená husa should place particular emphasis on promoting a unique dining experience and atmosphere of the restaurants through various marketing channels, along with active use of influencer marketing and online campaigns. It is also important to develop an online presence and monitoring market trends. For the Liberec branch, it is recommended to focus on making the lunch menu more attractive, its convenient location in the city centre and optimising occupancy during the day. Potrefená goose in Prague should focus on increasing average spend per person, to encourage tourists and foreign clientele, to optimise the lunch menu and to efficient restaurant occupancy. The IGY shopping centre in České Budějovice should be promote a favourable daily offer and at the same time it is appropriate to increase the average spending per person and to take advantage of the favourable location in the shopping centre. Potrefená goose in České Budějovice Budějovice on Česká Street should make its main efforts in marketing communication.
Localization system for mobile robot B2
Korytár, Lukáš ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
The master’s thesis implements localization and navigation routines for mobile robot B2 in order to operate autonomously in an environment described by a road map only. The ROS framework was used for developing new software. The research part describes possible approaches to localization problem and summarizes ROS packages with localization and navigation software. The following part includes communication with the robot’s sensor modules and data processing from LIDAR, IMU and camera. The localization package robot_localization based on Kalman filter is implemented and setting of the navigation stack navigation is proposed, aiming to robot’s autonomous outdoor navigation. Implemented functions were tested in park environment and they are evaluated in this master's thesis too.
Localization of RF transmiter
Mikuláštík, Jiří ; Burian, František (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis deal with possibility of localization of avalanche victims. Main focus is for RF avalanche beacons. The major objects of this thesis are design and construction of this device. A large part of thesis describes design of avalanche beacon and particular steps of realization. The design take into account the compatibility with commercial beacons. The paramters of designed device are verified by testing and measurement.
Game Web Portal - Object-oriented Programming
Hůla, Vladimír ; Galáž, Zoltán (referee) ; Povoda, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of programming structure of game web portal. The web portal will serve as a communication and information center to simplify coordination among players and allow them to gain new experience. In the thesis are analyzed the needs of players, existing solutions and their drawbacks. The results of this analysis are used to design individual functions of the portal. Implementation of the most important parts of the website has been described, the implementation of these parts were evaluated and some enhancemets were eventually suggested. In the end of this thesis several functionalities were suggested, which could extend the portal in the future.
Hybrid module for industrial localization
Autonomous RC ship model
Jevická, Barbora ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with working on development kit, which is used for RC ship model. The basis are programmable Nucleo STM32 microcontrollers, to which other used modules are connected. The goal is to test each component and create system for navigation of the ship and wireless communication between controller and ship. GPS module and compass are used to navigate and determine the direction of the ship. Controller and ship can communicate through bidirectional wireless modules with antenna. The RC ship model can be switched between manual and autonomous modes. The main result of this thesis is autonomous movement of the ship on to a predetermined GPS coordinates and parallel communication with the user.
Pavement Long-term Evaluation with Recycled Base Course
Kadlubiec, Janusz ; Urbanec, Květoslav (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
My work deals with monitoring communications sections, which were renovated zrecyklováním existing surface. I documented these communications and to assess their condition after the time of use. Subscribed sections I put into the database PMS.
