Current sources and active load in CMOS technology, computer simulation.
Physical inspection of IC prototypes by reverse engineering
Štětina, Hynek ; Fujcik, Lukáš (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with techniques of reverse engineering of integrated circuits and their usage for circuit elements inspection. The practical example demonstrates use of acquired data. Further direction is given to the possibility of comparing acquired data with data from design enviroment.
Design of operational amplifier CMOS
Navrátil, Jakub ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Musil, Vladislav (advisor)
The present work deals with issues of a design of operational transconductance amplifier in technology CMOS AMIS 0,7 um. The aim of the work is to design a accurate operational amplifier with a low input differential voltage.
Design of DA converter with fully differential output in CMOS technology
Mácha, Petr ; Prokop, Roman (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of eight-bit digital to analog coverter with fully differential outputs in technology I3T25 of ON Semiconductor company. The work contains the description of basic structures and characteristics of digital to analog converters. The main focus of the work is to design a converter and auxiliary circuits at the transistor level. The functionality of designed circuits is verified by simulation environment Cadence.
Determining Head Rotation in Video from Security Camera
Blucha, Ondřej ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis attempts to create an application to determine head rotation angle in video recorded from a security camera. The application consists of three parts: face detection, facial landmarks detection and determination of person's head rotation. The face detection has been implemented using Viola-Jones and HOG algorithms. Facial landmarks detection has been done using algorithm based on active shape model. Two methods to calculate the head rotation angles have been used: the first method works with anthropometric head features. The second method uses Perspective-n-Point algorithm to find the right rotation angles. Finally, all algorithms implemented have been tested and the proper parameters have been determined.
Design of the Rail-to-Rail current conveyor in CMOS technology
Hudzik, Martin ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with design of rail-to-rail second generation current conveyor in CMOS technology. Describes principles of function of different generations of current conveyors, as well as the basic principle of design of second generation current conveyor based on operational amplifier. Addresses circuit topology of input rail-to-rail stage and class AB output stage. The objective of this thesis is to design, characterize performance and create layout of second generation current conveyor with input common mode voltage rail-to-rail capability in ONSemi I3T25 technology.
Design of voltage reference circuit in ONSemi I3T technology
Pěček, Lukáš ; Prokop, Roman (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
Voltage references form an essential part of most integrated circuits. The aim of this thesis is to describe their principle and design complete circuit including layout in ONSemi I3T technology. Bandgap voltage reference with 1,25 V out-put and with preregulator was designed. Five-bit trimming circuit was used to increase accuracy.
Design of D/A converter in CMOS technology
Kliment, Filip ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design digital to analog converter, the parameters of DAC are described inside the thesis. The thesis contains basic structures of the DAC and their transfer functions. For the design was chosen structure with a R2 R resistor network. Design and simulation were made in program package CADENCE. The circuit was designed using technology I2T100.
Design of differential difference amplifier (DDA) for biological signals processing
Grochal, Peter ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Khateb, Fabian (advisor)
The work deals with the analog design of low-voltage and low-power differential difference amplifier DDA with adaptive differential input stage, second stage class AB, improved by a self – cascode to achieve higher gain and slew rate. Conventional and unconventional techniques, and methods for low-voltage and low-power design are presented. The finished design of the differential difference amplifier DDA with the analyzed results is presented. Design of a Butterwortho low-pass filter of the sixth order based on DDA with Sallen Key topology and design of a multifunctional ARC filter based on DDA.
