Maráčková, Petra ; Strnad, Pavel (advisor) ; Vařeková, Jitka (referee)
Title: Movement disorders of beachvolleyball players. Objectives: In this bachelor's thesis, the aim is to analyze movement disorders in the area of the shoulder girdle and to confirm the hypotheses about unilateral loading in favor of the dominant limb. Methods: The chosen method is the functional muscle test for testing muscle strength and for shortened muscles, according to Janda, specifically focused on the shoulder girdle. Based on the chosen method, the results in the given movements of the shoulder joint and scapula were analyzed. Results: Testing was recorded in tables created in Excel, which contained all movement actions in the shoulder girdle test and the degrees by which the dominant and non- dominant limb were assessed. The final table summarizes all the testing from the previous tables and a comparison of movement between the dominant and non- dominant limb. Based on the final evaluation, a brief proposal of compensatory exercises was created, focused on the analyzed movement disorders and imbalances. Keywords: Beach volleyball, disorder, imbalance, shoulder girdle, muscle test

Title: Occurrence of coordination disorders in children with hearing impairment Objectives: The aim of this master thesis was to verify the hypothesis that children with hearing impairment have higher incidence of sensorimotor issues byassessing their motor skills, physical fitness and somatognostic functions. A partial goal was to assess the correlation between the methods used. Methods: The examination group consisted of 73 children (27 girls and 46 boys) with hearing impairment aged 7 to 16 years (mean age 11.9 ± 2.8 years). The mean weight of the children was 47.7 ± 17.4 kg, the mean height was 153 ± 17.5 cm and the average BMI value was 19.7 ± 4.1. Following methods for testing of children with hearing impairment were utilized: the Movemet Assessment Battery for Children - Second Edition (MABC-2) and Unifittest 6-60. Results were evaluated according to Czech standards. All children were also tested for their somatognostic functions according to Kolář. Furthermore, anamnestic data were obtained from parents of 54 children using a non-standardized questionnaire. In the case of 20 children, the assessment was repeated after 3 years. Statistica and Microsoft Excel 2016 were used for data processing. Results: The hypothesis was confirmed, i.e. children with hearing impairment have higher incidence...

Title: Changes in posture, flexibility, handgrip and balance in children with special Leeds after 5days suburban camp Objectives: The main objective is to determine the development of selected parameters in physical skills and posture in children with special needs who attended a week lasting inclusive suburban camp. Methods: This is a mixed research with a predominance of qualitative methods. It uses repeated measurements (pretest-posttest). The evaluation of children is conceived as a group (mean and SD) as well as case reports of individual children. A total of 10 children (3 boys, 7 girls) aged 7 to 14 years with different types of special educational needs were evaluated. Mathias test, Thomayer test, handgrip measurement, shoulder rotation test and standing on one leg were used to evaluate movement abilities and posture. Results: The results of the measurements show that in each of the selected tests at least one child improved motor skills. Furthermore, all measured children improved in at least one of the measured parameters. Parents' opinions show that all the children who participated in the camp were in a better physical condition after the camp than beforethe camp. However, the results should be presented with caution because of high data variability and low number of subjects. Keywords:...
