Presentation Software - Solid Geometry, Stereometry
Straka, Tomáš ; Kubíček, Radek (referee) ; Štancl, Vít (advisor)
The main theme of this document is to describe the way of creating presentation software of solid geometry and stereometry. This application tool should help teachers more to explain the subject. Student has opportunity with this application to better understand explained subject. After a long  deliberation and cooperation with teachers from primary school we decided to choose a solid geometry and  stereometry like the aim of this application. Later we added part where I solve the right method used in geometry constructions. In this document is described the process of work proceeding beginning with analysis, over implementation to testing. Important parts of this application are graphic interface, application control tools and the form of object graphical representation.
Mathematical models of tires
Straka, Tomáš ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This master‘s thesis describes problematics of mathematical models of tires for computer simulations. The goal of this thesis is to depict currently used models of tires and to compare them. Thesis describes brush type models, Fiala, Magic Formula (Pacejka), FTire, UA-Gim, 521 and DELFT. Those models are compared to each other by simulations carried out in software MSC ADAMS Car. The results are shown in figures with commentary and evaluation. This thesis serves as introduction to problematics of currently used mathematical models of tire in computer simulations.
Formula Student Pedal Assembly with Autonomous Brake Function
Skalník, Adam ; Straka, Tomáš (referee) ; Tobiáš, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to research possible options of autonomous brake system for Formula Student vehicle. Optimal solution is chosen according to the requirements of the team. This solution is designed together with the pedal assembly. Emphasis is placed on reliability, weight and suitable installation in the vehicle compartment when designing the assembly.
Analysis of contaminants in wheel and rail contact
Straka, Tomáš ; Galas, Radovan (referee) ; Kvarda, Daniel (advisor)
Wheel/rail contact is significantly influenced by so called third body – contaminants. Aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to analyse those contaminants in the contact and to create a brief overview. Short introduction into problem of wheel/rail contact is included, followed by description of main contaminants occurring in the contact. This thesis may be used as introduction into contamination of wheel/rail contact problem.
Tool for Monitoring and Reporting on Project Progress
Straka, Tomáš ; Masařík, Karel (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This term project deals with knowledge areas of project management, specifically areas of time, cost and communication. This is a theoretical basis for the next implementation of tool for monitoring and reporting on project progress.
Parody of Czech Television in the series Dobré ráno, Brno! as a modern form of television entertainment
Straka, Tomáš ; Kruml, Milan (advisor) ; Štoll, Martin (referee)
This thesis deals with the analysis of the television series "Dobré ráno, Brno!" produced by Czech Television. The series serves as a parody of the original show "Dobré ráno", which is broadcast on weekdays and aims to provide "a morning dose of information and music, accompanied by interesting guests and tips". Czech Television has created a series that daringly parodies not only itself as a significant institution, including its employees, but also the television industry as a whole. The series allows for the analysis of key concepts of television entertainment, such as the use of parody, satire, humour, and hyperbole. The aim of this thesis is to determine the nature of parody in the series "Dobré ráno, Brno!" in relation to Czech Television and to examine how the series contributes to a greater genre diversity in television entertainment, particularly in the areas of parody, satire, and humour. The research method selected for this study is semiotic analysis, with an emphasis on the analysis of meanings on the level of denotation and connotation following the approach of Roland Barthes. The detailed semiotic analysis includes analysis of dialogues and verbal signs, examination of sound design, and the overall mise-en-scène analysis, including the analysis of individual characters, costumes,...
Driveline Design and Testing Methods
Poláček, Jan ; Straka, Tomáš (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the methods of designing and testing of vehicle drivetrains. The first part of the thesis describes and explains the individual drivetrain components and their possible arrangements. Then, the test methods used in the development of vehicle drivetrains, which are increasingly demanded in terms of their efficiency and reliability, are explained. Therefore, this thesis summarizes the sophisticated simulation tools used in the design and development of vehicle drivetrains. In conclusion of thesis the importance of simulation and testing of drivetrain is considered.
