Its goals were to map the concept of teacher collective efficacy among teachers in primary and secondary schools and how they reflect on this concept and then to suggest new possible model and possible directions for creating a teacher collective efficacy scale for Czech teachers. Urbánková, Veronika ; Viktorová, Ida (advisor) ; Smetáčková, Irena (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the parents' point of view on the individual contacts of the family and the school. The theoretical part presents the history of the relationship development between the family and the school, the functions of socializations and competences of these institutions and the forms of contact between the family and the school with the emphasis on a specific form, so called tutorial system, based on building a confidential, open parent-child relationship and which is intended to enable educational co-operation in the upbringing of a child. The focus of this thesis is on its empirical part, realized within the qualitative methodological approach. With the help of semi-structured interviews with parents, the parents' point of view on the role and competences of the school in the educational process of the child were studied, as well as the way parents perceive a tutorial system of communication with the school. The research results suggest that parents perceive the involvement of the school in the area of childcare ambivalently, and that despite the noted positives, tutoring meetings are problematic for parents, mainly because of the unclear determination of boundaries and the definition of roles in them. Key words: school, family, competences, childcare,...

The objective of this thesis is map whenever there are differences between teachers and their danger level of burnout syndrome. The theoretical part is focused on describing burnout syndrome, its symptoms, impacts and coping strategies which have been already defined by other authors. Analysis of coping strategies is part of the theoretical part too. Empirical work is based on the research that I realized. The research is two-phased. In the first phase teachers filled the questionnaire which is focused on the burnout syndrome. In the second phase, there were interviews which were realized with women and men picked based on outcomes of the first phase. Teachers from basic schools, secondary technical schools, grammar schools and secondary vocational schools. The interviews were realized with six respondents. Data gained from questionnaires and interviews are compared in terms of the type of school and in terms of gender. The main results of my research are following. Kučerová Uriková, Dana ; Smetáčková, Irena (advisor) ; Kobová, Ĺubica (referee)
The thesis deals with gender aspects of parental choice of common and Montessori kindergarten. The theoretical part focuses on topics related to both gender identity and its development and with the preschool period, which is described primarily in terms of gender. Given that important parts of childhood are toys, the theoretical part also focuses on the gender aspect and explores it. Gender equality is offered as one of the possible approaches to children upbringing and education. The Montessori method of education occupies a large space of the theoretical part. The thesis also compares Montessori kindergartens with common kindergartens. Research of the thesis is based on a qualitative analysis of interviews with mothers of children in the pre-school and early school age. This analysis goes through all the interviews. It searches and then compares common categories. The research shows that parents choosing a kindergarten for their child do not reflect forms of gender socialization in the kindergarten. Alternative kindergarten is often chosen by parents of children who apply elements of gender- sensitive education in their upbringing. Parents, who chose child Montessori kindergarten for their child, have more specific and clearly defined selection criteria than parents collecting common...
