Comparison of green marketing and greenwashing.

This dissertation explains area of so called green marketing and shows also it's less known face - greenwashing. The thesis defines these terms from develop, design and typology point of view. The goal of thesis is to find out an occurrence level of greenwashing which means a possibility to reach an environmental image without an ecological activities and to compare it with a range of real green marketing. A practical part focuses on an analysis of 50 most valuable companies of present days which are considered as environment friendly. All necessary data are gathered by this analysis. Results are reached by a comparative analysis which shows us a companies committing greenwashing. A ratio of green marketing and greenwashing occurrence, most often occurrence of particular methods as well as branches of most often greenwashing occurrence are determined by evaluation of above mentioned comparative analysis. The assessment is presented in an outcome of diploma thesis.
Chain of custody of forest based products certification in the Czech Republic

This work describs the current fettle of forestry product chain-of-custody certification in the Czech Republic. It contains basic concepts related to certification and reasons emergence of the requirements for certification in forestry. The work also includes results from an international survey questionnaire.
Communication strategy of wood selling company by applying business model canvas

The aim of my thesis is to define an issue of the business model Canvas now together with its implementation at the certain timber company tools with the help of tools like public relations, analyses of communication mix. In the theoretical part is described business model Canvas in detail and also defined the importance of communication in the market background including the marketing communication tools. In the practical part is with the help of business model analyzed and evaluated the current condition of communication mix at the certain timber company. Finally there are recommended the ways of improvement of the current marketing and communication system.
Communication and public relations focused on protected areas in Southern Moravia

Abstract This work deals with communication and its kinds, communication with the public and marketing communication in relation to the forest, as a part of nature, to protected areas and their position in protection of nature. The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to design a communication strategy and a communication mix of protected areas in southern Moravia for communicating with the public. Furthermore, the term of public relations and its life course are explained here. Another section of this work deals with selecting subjects from the region and with description of single selected protected areas in southern Moravia and their communications with the public. Through a questionnaire survey there are researched students at two secondary schools and there is found out how the protected areas are perceived by students. Interviews with the educators to find out their opinion on the matter are conducted as well. The Thesis uses the analysis of communication strategies of protected landscape areas and a national park. Relevant suggestions for improving communication are accepted based on the final results of the research.
Analysis of the marketing mix of a furniture dealer

The bachelor thesis deals with benchmarking focused on the marketing mix of a chosen subject, which is the Asko nábytek s.r.o. furniture dealer, and with important related subjects such as marketing, marketing mix, benchmarking and the SWOT analysis. This bachelor thesis is logically divided into an introduction, objectives and methodology, a theoretical part, a practical part, a discussion and a conclusion. In the introduction and in the chapter "Methodology of work" there is a summary of my reasons of choosing this particular issue, procedures used to get results and expected outcomes. In the theoretical part important concepts are defined and the practical part includes my own research. In the discussion I am trying to evaluate the results and in the last part there are my findings and conclusions.
Application of project management in construction recreational wooden buildings

Thesis discusses the use of project management in practice. Practice in this sense, considering the timber and construction, or a combination of both. Construction of the playground, consisting mainly of wooden parts, is described as a project. In the beginning there are defined important concepts to understand the problems and outline general principles and rules for creating a project. In the practical part through decomposition of each activity gets a list of elements on which the process is demonstrated. Important part of the work is the chapter with a detailed description and timetable of activities. Scheduling methods CPM and PERT, these individual steps graphical map. In the discussion they mentioned the possibility of using the project management and the software support. Conclusion The thesis discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the use of project management for small entities dealing with the implementation of similar buildings.
Application of project management in construction of wooden building

In my thesis, I applied project management in optimizing activities in the implementation of wooden buildings. I used methods of PERT and CPM, and then compared their contribution to practical use in the implementation of the historic wooden buildings of baroque truss. I suggested classification methodology sorting random effects in the implementation of timber, which will be useful in the practice of project management. Then I confronted estimates project duration calculated according to these methods with real historical truss during construction.
Marketing audit of a chosen company

The purpose of my thesis is to conduct the marketing audit of Dřevocentrum CZ company aimed at trading of wood products. In the theoretical part are explained terms like marketing, marketing mix, mystery shopping, marketing research and benchmarking. In the application part are processed particular analyses of marketing audit. Special attention is paid to assortment, prices, communication and market shares, compared to competitors afterwards. Acquired information are evaluated. At the conclusion of evaluation are presented ideas to improve marketing effectiveness of the company.
Improving the quality management system in woodworking enterprise with regard to market changes

The thesis is focused on developing a proposal to increase the quality of production and its processes in the chosen company from wood processing industry with regard to the requirements of the market and marketing. The author first introduces and explains basic concepts, such as methods for management support, marketing and quality. Following is the analysis of existing processes in Dřevotvar cooperative in all of its premises and using the audit of quality management system processes. Then the author is dealing with optimization of main processes at this company. Based on the data obtained steps are being recommended as to the increase of quality of production and its processes.
Formulation and implementation of business strategy

This bachelor thesis is concerned with strategic management, formulation and implementation of business strategy. The theoretical part presents definitions of fundamental notions, principles and processes of the strategic management of a company. The practical part is based on the theoretical part and contains an analysis of the current situation of the Credit One, a.s. company. The analysis is based on long-term observation of the operation of the company, interviews with the company management and internal materials. On this analysis the realization of the goal of this thesis is built. The goal is to suggest an appropriate strategy for the company and the steps that would lead to its successful implementation.
