Title: The development of football in the Czech Republic This work is focused on the development of football in the Czech Republic. Maps twenty years of history since the founding of the first Czech club, Prague Lions until 2011. The aim is to introduce the layman the game American football, with its brief history in the U.S. and developments in the world with a focus on Europe. The bachelors thesis deals with the description identity of football club FK Viktoria Žižkov and her commercial application, through description analysis and depth interview with representative of fans and player of "A" team. The depth interview with these people helped me to create SWOT analysis. Title: Marketing Research of the value in selected sports brand AND1 The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to determine how people in the Czech Republic, who are acquainted with basketball environment, perceive and know the sports brand AND1. There are presented definitions that clarify what brand is, how we understand the brand equity and how the equity of the brand can be measured and methods used to achieve the objectives of this thesis. In the practical part this thesis concentrates on assembling together data and further processing of the gained data into particular results. The results are assessed in the final part and if some of them are negative, there are made recommendations that could bring positive results. Title: Organising of sports event - ISF Youth World Cup 2009 Objectives: The objective of the diploma thesis is to analyse the problems of organising sports events. For these purposes I have chosen ISF Youth World Cup of softball. On the basis of reached information I will find out failures and mistakes made during organising and I will suggest their solutions. Methods: For reaching the objectives of this thesis I have chosen interviewing, informal interview, method of case study and also SWOT analysis which analyse strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats which can occure during organising. Results: The diploma thesis shows how to organise a sports event of similar character as ISF Youth World Cup 2009. It reveals the failures and troubles with organising of this tournament and suggests the ways of their correction. Title: Strategic planning in sports clubs - TASK Silueta Praha Objectives: The objective of this diploma thesis is to conduct a strategic development plan for the competitive part of the sports club TASK Silueta Praha. The plan will be created for the time period between the 1st July 2011 and the 30th June 2014. The individual steps of strategic planning represent the partial tasks of the thesis. Methods: The analysis of TASK Silueta Praha takes form of a case study. In order to gain an in-depth knowledge about the current situation and the future opportunities of the club a series of research methods is used. These represent in particular: qualitative interview, analysis of texts and documents, survey and SWOT analysis. Outcomes: TASK Silueta Praha is a very attractive sports club for children and youth from the whole Prague area. Yet to become the number one Czech Rock'n'Roll sports club a number of changes and efforts towards underlining the present positive characteristics must be conducted in the next three years. The suggested strategic plan involving the areas of sport, organization, finance, marketing and social activities can most certainly help to fulfill this better future. Team Roles of the Pupils Team of FK Motorlet Praha

ANOTATION Diploma thesis name: Team roles in the youth team at the FK Motorlet Praha, s.r.o. football club. . Objectives: First goal of the thesis is to find within the youth team at the FK Motorlet Praha, s.r.o. football club particular team roles and assess their importance for the team and find out which role holds each player. Second goal is to examine common relations between particular team members and on the basis of such an examination to find out if there is any way how to increase and improve the efficiency of the team's cooperation. Method: Structured non-participant observation was used to observe the team under examination. All team members were asked to answer questions from the Belbin test. Relations between team members were detected by sociometric test. By using a non-standardised interview with head coach, results of the previous observation and interview were used. Results: Observation results indicate how particular team members behave in certain situations. Interview results show how team members assess themselves while fulfiling certain tasks. Finally sociometric test result indicates common relations between particular members of the team under review. Key words: Team, team role, team-building, Belbin test, sociometric test.
