Effects of Environmental Taxation in Company´s Performance

The thesis evaluates the current state of environmental taxation based on CO2 emissions and determines the impact on a company ABC, s r.o. The initial section, Literature Review, discusses environmental economics and environmental policy concepts and introduces taxation procedures of road tax in Czech Republic and Ireland. The main body describes operation of the chosen company and shows real tax calculations according to the tax law of the Czech Republic and Ireland. Finally, it is discussed the potential impact on the chosen business.

Financing of the Revitalization of a Block of Flats

This master thesis deals with the financing of the revitalization of a particular block of flats in Brno. The thesis contains process of reconstruction, comparison of supplier´s offers and bank credit products and return on investments. Based the selection criteria, analysis and calculations is chosen optimal supplier and bank institution. The result of this thesis is a proposal for the flat owners association how to efficiently finance revitalization.

The Copany Controling Utilization

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the current status of controlling in the company Skynet, a.s. and suggests improvements by using controlling as a subsystem of the management system. The financial analysis, which is the crucial tool for decision making in the corporate management, is used to evaluate the corporate history and current state. In the first part of the financial analysis, the corporate economical status is evaluated using the analysis of the relative data, while in the second part, it is evaluated using the aggregate data. In the following chapter, the internal economy of the company is discussed, including calculations, optimization of deviations and the consequences of the inclusion of controlling into the management process. It is concluded that if controlling is used in the management process, the competitive edge grows thanks to the improved adaptability to the business environment and more flexible strategic management.

Semipreparative separation of bioconjugates of azaphtalocyanines

Marta Novotná Consultant: doc.PharmDr. Radim Kučera, Ph.D. Title of thesis: Semipreparative separation of bioconjugates of azaphtalocyanines This rigorous thesis deals with the development of suitable chromatographic conditions for the semipreparative separation of bio-conjugates of azaphthalocyanines. These compounds are of great interest today, thanks to their employment as potential quenchers of fluorescence in the molecular probes. The experiments were carried out in analytical and semi-preparative scales. The conditions of separation in the analytical as well as semi-preparative scale were optimized by changing the mobile phase composition. The following chromatographic conditions were found for separation of bio-conjugates of azaphtalocyanines: Stationary phase: Hypersil BDS®, 150 × 10 mm, 5 μm particle size Mobile phase A: 50 mM water solution TEAA in 12 % acetonitrile Mobile phase B: acetonitrile Isocratic elution A : B 57 : 43 (v/v) Other conditions: temperature 40 řC, flow rate 2,5 ml per minute Detection: 254 nm, 673 nm The desired bio-conjugate of azaphtalocynine were successfully isolated from the reaction mixture using the developed...

Open Space Office and it's Influence on Satisfaction of Workers

This bachelor thesis focuses on open space office in relation to satisfaction with employment. It focuses on research of factors of this specific working environment and tries to check hypothesis talking about negative impact on overal satsfacton with job. Through the research conducted within one company this bachelor thesis present evaluation of factos of working environment and show overal impact of these factors on satisfaction with job. This bachelor thesis finds out that noise and discomfort linked with temperature in office are main determinants of dissatisfaction with this type of working environment; on the other hand this research also showed positive impact of this working environment on low occurrence of bullying within the workplace. This research showed that employees of this company are satisfied with their workspace more then we should expect. Important discovery of this bachelor thesis is that working environment really has an impact on overal satisfaction with job. This bachelor thesis also tries to point to relative small number of conducted researches focused on this topic.
