The School Preparedness of Children from a Socio-cultural Disadvantaged Environment

My diploma work focused on the perception-cognitive level of children fřom socially and culturally disadvantaged backgrounds in order tol look at how they were prepared for school and to develope an optimal stimulation programme for them. The acquired knowledge can be the basis for the creation of individual educational plans and can also help in making school educational pian of higher quality. In this way the handicaps of children could be moderated or even eliminated and the children would háve easier start of school education. Diese Diplomarbeit hat das Ziel, das aktuelle Problém von der Schulintegration der Immigrantenskinder in Europa zu mappieren, vor allem in einem der Staaten EU, in Ósterreich. Die Methoden, die ich benutze, gehen vor allem von meinem Studienaufenthalt in oberósterreichischen Linz aus. Die Hauptmethoden sind Besichtigungen, Besprechungen und praktische Tátigkeit als Lehrerassistentin in einigen pádagogischen Einrichtungen in dieser Stadt Die Ausgabe von dieser Diplomarbeit soli eine Beschreibung von der guten Praxis in einem Land werden, das schon lángere Erfahrungen mit dem Leben in der multikulturellen Gesellschaft und mir der Schulintegration der Kinder mit anderen Muttersprache als die Sprache von Majoritat hat Diese vorlegende Beschreibung konnte eine Inspiration der Tschechischen Republik werden, dem Land, an das diese anspruchsvolle Aufgabe erst wartet.

Drug prevention at upper elementary school

This bachelor thesi s deals with drug prevention at upper primary schools. In the theoretical part it focuses on basic information associated with drug prevention. Further it mentions general methods, solutions and ways of prevention, and also the system of prevention used in schools. The practical part describes the role that teachers have in the prevention system. The research was realized at three schools in the Pribram region. Teachers from upper primary schools took part in the research. The method of questionnaires enabled monitoring of the teachers' awareness, knowledge and activities in the field of drug prevention. From the acquired data it was deduced how much the teachers are involved in drug prevention.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the communication problems of deaf people in health care institutions. The aim is to map the most common problems the deaf have when communicating with personnel in health care institutions in this area. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the classification of hearing impairments, communication methods of the deaf, the role of sign language interpreters, as well as patient's rights. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey of deaf people and analyses the most common problems of the deaf in health care institutions

Needs of persons with disabilities and their close persons during hospitalisation

Experience of patients with disabilities and their close persons during hospitalisation demonstrates insufficient understanding to the needs of such people. This issue is also discussed in foreign literature, wherein the need to establish the position of a specialized worker who knows very well the conditions of the health care facility and the needs of people with disabilities is emphasized. The objective of this thesis is to point out the complex issue of the needs of people with learning disability and their close persons during hospitalisation. Hospitalisation itself is a difficult and demanding situation in any person's life. For persons with learning disability, this situation is even more serious. The thesis aims at describing the experience of persons with learning disability so that it may serve as the basis for improving their health care.

The target of the bachelor's thesis is to chart the process of the integrated education of the pupil with special educational needs or rather a child with mental retardation.The theoretical part of the thesis limits the terms of mental retardation,its classification,legislative framework for education of the pupils with mental retardation. The practical part of the thesis is focused on proccesing of study - casuistry of a pupil.Describing the process of education on the base of individual integration. In process of casuistry were used the methods of qualitative research which means observation,interview and the analysis of the pedagogical documentation of the pupil. Bachelor thesis is concerned with formation of the first institutions of special education in our country, legislation of the education in past and at present and with historical development of the institutions for mentally disable people. The thesis is devided into four parts. The first chapter is concerned with stages of the attitude to disable people. The second part describes history and the founding of the school for special education in Bohemia and Moravia. The third part is devided into two chapters. The first part deals with law education from 1774 to 1989. The second part describes current law education and regulations. The last part is concerned with history and present of special elementary school " Klíček" in Tábor - Záluží. Integration of children from special classes into elementary schools

This thesis deals with integration of children from special classes into elementary schools. Its aim is to find out whether this integration contributes to improving of mutual relations and whether it improves motivation to live a good-quality life . The theoretical part is derived from professional literarure, describes and defines expressions connected with pre-school education and compulsory education. It also specifies health différencies of school children, deals with integration, child and behaviour development disorders, cephalonia and speech disorders. Through the research ,the children integration into a particular school is investigated in the practical part. The integration of five children in a particular school is observed through questionnaires , observations and dialoges.

Communication problems of the majority society with a group of deaf

The topic of the thesis is communication problems of the majority of society and groups of deaf people. Deaf people also live in the majority of hearing society. These people meet each other and they can communicate with each other. This communication is problematic, however, because in the communication of deaf and hearing there are communication barriers. In this thesis, we used a quantitative method of the surveyed hearing respondents. We researched what communication problems exist in the communication of the majority society and a group of deaf people. Based on the methods used, we found that communication problems are mainly caused by a lack of awareness of the major societies of the group of deaf people. In this thesis, we propose to raise awareness of the majority of the hearing society about a group of deaf people, in order to eliminate communication problems. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
