Comparison of online interactive applications and their use in education
Šašek, Martin ; Leipert, Jiří (advisor) ; Lapeš, Jakub (referee)
The purpose of this thesis is to select a user-friendly interactive application for teaching and to present it in the form of an instructional video including instructions in text form for its use in pedagogical practice. Selection of the most suitable interactive application was made by comparison on the basis of a five-element methodological evaluation scale, which resulted from a literature search and Internet resources and from the experience gained from my own teaching practice. The applications were evaluated on the degree of interactivity, accessibility of the application, availability of the license, language proficiency and user experience with each application. The comparison was then evaluated and the selected Nearpod application was characterized, its features and capabilities were described from the perspective of the teacher and the student. Instructions for its use were created in the form of a set of instructional tutorial videos, which were published on the website https://sites.google.com/view/vyucovat-interaktivne. These videos present the environment of the interactive application Nearpod, show the basic way of working with the application, the preparation of teaching material and focus on practical recommendations for using the tool in daily pedagogical practice. Interactive technology in education
Svobodová, Kristýna ; Lapeš, Jakub (advisor) ; Tocháček, Daniel (referee)
The bachelor's thesis is devoted to various types of interactive technologies and their integration into the educational process at the second level of elementary schools. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out how teachers approach the use of interactive technologies in education at ordinary elementary schools. In the theoretical part, the reader is first introduced to the concept of interactive technology, then to selected types of interactive technologies that can be effectively used in elementary school teaching, and to their application in the classroom. At the end of this section, the theoretical basis for obtaining and creating didactic materials for interactive technologies is described. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the use of interactive technologies in education at the second level of elementary schools. At the end of the theses, the conclusions of the research, which was carried out by using a semi-structured interview with the principals and a questionnaire survey, whose respondents were teachers of second grade of elementary schools in Prague, are formulated. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the preparation and organization of activities in facilities providing leisure activities and youth education in hobby departments. The aim of the work is to create a set of tasks related to the robotic set VEX, which will then be verified by students in leisure activities and subsequently analyse their output.. In the theoretical part we aim for a suitable definition of basic concepts of robotics, educational robotics, basic pedagogical methods for this type of robotic teaching, basics of algorithms, familiarization with other robotic sets and a description of the selected kit. The thesis deals with the matter of interactive whiteboards, both from the technical and didactic point of view. It analyses selected Czech online storage sites and maps digital learning materials stored at these sites. Its content is focused on the area of Mathematics and its applications. On the basis of the analysis of digital learning objects and RVP ZV in connection to the particular school education programme for elementary schools, the digital teaching objects were created and described and they were also tested at a primary school during the school year 2014/2015 and the thesis includes the conclusions from their application.
Creation of learning objects for interactive whiteboard in math education
Moravcová, Barbora ; Lapeš, Jakub (advisor) ; Vaňková, Petra (referee)
The aim of the thesis on the topic "Learning objects for interactive whiteboard with a focus on mathematics" is to explore theoretical aspects and principles of interactive teaching using interactive whiteboards in teaching mathematics at middle school. Another goal is to create interactive presentations of various thematic units of mathematics curricula for middle schools, and educational at the same time with the documentation for these presentations. Description of theoretical aspects deals with of both the very notion of interactivity and learning object concepts and interactive whiteboard. The bachelor thesis emphasized the need to take care when using the interactive whiteboard teaching traditional didactic principles and these principles are explained in relation to interactive learning. The practical part is dedicated to creating learning objects in the environment of the program GeoGebra and the program SMART Notebook for creating presentations. Result of this work is eight presentations created for the second and third year of middle school to take full advantage of the opportunities the program offers.
