Title: The effectiveness of compensation practices after training at badminton player Author: Adéla Krčková Aims: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of compensation exercise after training on shortened muscles or muscle groups, the presence of trigger points in muscles and the presence of pain in musculoskeletal system at badminton players. Methods: This is a randomized pilot study based on a mixed type of research (quantitative, qualitative parameters), the methodological principle is a two-factor and multi level. Research was attended by 14 players aged 13-17 years , boys and girls. The whole group of players was examined by a physiotherapist , which included examination of shortened muscles by Janda, palpation assessment of the presence of trigger points in the muscles. The muscles which were assessed for the presence of trigger points were the same as the muscles , which in vestigates shortening and eventually every player will be asked for pain musculoskeletal system and evaluate numerical pain rating scale . Then , this group was divided by reported pain present in two groups: intervention and control group, so that in each group as far as possible the same number of players with pain. The diploma thesis deals with grammar school libraries and their activities for reading literacy and information literacy development in the Czech Republic and Sweden. The first part of the thesis defines theoretical methods for reading and information literacy development, current level of reading and information literacy in the Czech Republic and Sweden. Part of the thesis describes school system and legislation of school libraries of both countries. Practical part of the thesis is composed of analysis of websites of the libraries and comparison of one Czech and one Swedish school library.

Prague City Archives and its role in Czech information society

This bachelor thesis is focused on introduction of Prague city archives, as important memory institution belonging to Czech information society. First chapter of this thesis is dedicated to historical development of archives. In the next chapter are defined functions, activities and services of this institution. Next parts of the thesis describe buildings, where the archives is located, organizational structure of this institution as well as the structure of collections, funds, and library. The last chapter is touching the major problem of Prague city archives which is storing of electronic archivals.
Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with lumboischiadic syndrome with radicular irritation S1

Title: Casuistry of physiotherapy care for patients diagnosed with lumboischiadic syndrome with S1 radicular irritation. Objective: Acquisition of theoretical knowledge of kinesiology, functional and structural failures of lumbar spine and physiotherapy approaches used in this issue. In a special section has been selected to develop a case study patient during work placements. Method: The general part of bachelors thesis contains a theoretical knowledge of kinesiology lumbar spine, as well as disorders of the axial system and diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to the back pain issue. The practical part includes the case of a patient diagnosed with the syndrome lumboischiadic S1 irritation. Results: Alleviate pain, improve overall fitness and mental condition. Conclusion: Indications of physiotherapy in patients with lumboischiadic syndrome proved beneficial in terms of overall improvement of health of the patient. Key words: lumboischiadic syndrome, radicular syndrome, back pain, disc herniation, rehabilitation.
