Barakat, Husam Aldin Naser ; Kočí, Gabriela (advisor) ; Vomáčková, Helena (referee)
Název: Případová studie fyzioterapeutické léčby pacienta po ischemické cévní mozkové příhodě v bazálních gangliích s postižením pravé strany těla v podobě spastické hemiparézy Cíl: Tato práce si klade za cíl zkonsolidovat teoretické poznatky o ischemické cévní mozkové příhodě a představit podrobnou kazuistiku pacienta trpícího postižením pravé strany těla v důsledku ischemické cévní mozkové příhody v bazálních gangliích. Zahrnuje podrobné popisy počátečního a finálního kineziologického vyšetření, průběh jednotlivých terapií a komplexní shrnutí výsledků terapie. Specializovaný obsah vychází z praktických zkušeností získaných během kontinuální profesionální praxe na Oddělení pooperační rehabilitace v Oblastní nemocnici Kladno, probíhající pod vedením supervizora Bc. Tomáše Modlingera od 16. ledna do 10. února 2023....

Author: Lenka Fialová Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after knee arthroscopy Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide comprehensive information about knee joint their injuries, examinations, treatment and rehabilitation procedure. The aim is also to document the physiotherapy care of the patient after knee atroscopy for anterior cruciate ligament lesion, cartilage defect and plica syndrome. Methods: In the general part of the thesis I summarize the theoretical knowledge concerning the knee joint, including anatomy and biomechanics, mechanism of injury and treatment of some injuries of this joint. Furthermore, I focus on the possibilities of clinical examination and subsequent rehabilitation. In a special part of the thesis I present a case report of a patient after ASK of the knee joint with cartilage and ACL lesion, and plica syndrome. This section contains a description of 8 therapeutic units including initial and output kinesiological analysis. All literature used is listed at the end of this paper. Results: In the general section, information regarding the knee joint was summarized. The types of soft tissue injuries, their examination and treatment, especially the arthroscopic approach, and possible rehabilitation procedures were discussed in detail....
A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient diagnosed with lumbar and other intervertebral disc disease with radiculopathy
Mejvald, Michal ; Kočí, Gabriela (advisor) ; Nováková, Tereza (referee)
v Abstract Author: Michal Mejvald Supervisor: Mgr. Gabriela Kočí Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient diagnosed with lumbar and other intervertebral disc disease with radiculopathy Objectives: The aim of this thesis is the theoretical and practical elaboration of the knowledge related to lumbar disc herniation. To point out the treatment options and to use some of them in the case of a patient after decompression surgery for intervertebral disc herniation. Methods: The case report consists of an initial kinesiological analysis, a short- and long- term therapy plan, ten detailed therapeutic units, an output kinesiological analysis and an evaluation of the effect of therapy. Results: The evaluation of the effect of the therapy shows that the physiotherapeutic intervention partially improved the patient's overall condition. Keyword: disc herniation, lumbar back pain, case study, physiotherapy, rehabilitation
A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after osteosynthesis of the tibia.
Korčáková, Klára ; Kočí, Gabriela (advisor) ; Mazancová, Iva (referee)
Author: Klára Korčáková Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after osteosynthesis of the tibia. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to create a theoretical background on fracture of fibula and tibial osteosynthesis as a part of the theoretical framework. The special part focuses on establishing a case report of a patient with this diagnosis. Methods: The special part of this bachelor thesis was created during continuous one-month practice at Medicentrum Praha from January 9th to February 3rd , 2023. Based on the patient's medical history and initial examination, goals of therapy were established and 10 therapeutic sessions were conducted, concluded with an exit examination and assessment of the effectiveness of performed therapy. Results: In the general part of the thesis, crucial theoretical background was processed, and in the specific part, improvements were achieved in most of the measured values. Keywords: tibia, fraction of tibia, physiotherapy
Two-point discrimination in adolescent patients hospitalized with anorexia nervosa
Kočí, Gabriela ; Stackeová, Daniela (advisor) ; Demeková, Júlia (referee)
Anorexia nervosa (AN) is a mental illnes manifesting itselg, among other signs, with impaired body schema and rejection of food. Principal focus of the thesis was to assess the discrimination treshold, ability to evaluate sensory perception and body self-concept in adolescent female patients hospitalised with anorexia nervosa. Our goal was to clarify and better understand the still not adequately described neurophysiological aspects of anorexia nervosa. The results were compared to control group; both groups comprised 18 girls, the average age of observed group being 14,7 ± 0,71 years and average age of control group being 15,3 ±0,71 years. Two-point discrimination was examined in three areas - arm, between shoulder blades and belly - with modified caliper. The Petrie test was used in sensory perception testing, while body self-concept was measured with BAT questionare. The examinations were performed in standardised conditions during similar day times. We found significant difference in two-point discrimination in the area between the shoulder blades with significance level α = 5 % and p-value p = 0,0001. A statistically significant difference was also observed in body self-concept with significance level α = 5 % and p-value p = 0,017. Thus we conclude that patients suffering from anorexia nervosa...

Kočí, Gabriela ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Kaizrová, Irena (referee)
Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after hemorhgic stroke with right hemiparesis. Objectives: The goal of the thesis was to obtain theoretical information and background on stroke, suicide and therapeutic approaches and methods which can be applied in cases of stroke The specific part aims on the therapeutic care of a patient after suicide attempt followed by ischemic stroke, with whom I worked during one month practise in the Military University Hospital in Prague. Summary: In the theoretical part of my thesis I described anatomy, circulatory system and pathology of human brain, the characteristics of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke, the epidemiology, clinical manifastation and ways to diagnose and classify them. The principal part focused on therapy after the stroke and physiotherapist's point of view on stroke in general. The theoretical part is concluded by a chapter on suicide. The practical part introduces a case study of the physiotherapy treatment of a patient after suicide attempt followed by ischemic stroke. Keywords: Stroke, ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, hemiparesis, shoulder joint pain, spasticity physiotherapeutic procedures and methods, status after suicide attempt.
