Problems of humic matters as precursor of trihalomethanes (THMs) in water
Jelínková, Zuzana ; Dolejš, Petr (referee) ; Doležalová Weissmannová, Helena (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with qualities of humic matters, their origins, structures and occurrence in aquatic environment. There are suitable methods for determination of humic substances and processes used for their removing from water. The thesis describes disinfection of water and related origin of trihalomethanes. The aim of the experimental part of the thesis is to coagulate model humic water on the laboratory mixing column including suggestion of optimal dose of selected coagulation agent and comparison of effectivity of floccules separation by membrane filtration and centrifugation. Effectivity of the removal of humic matters was determined by measuring water absorbance at wavelengths 245 nm in a silica cuvette with optical 1 cm trajectory and at 387 nm in a glass cuvette with optical 5 cm trajectory. For evaluation of quality suspension concentration of residual iron of coagulation agent in water was determined.
Legislative of The Krkonoše Mountains National Park and other Europian national parks with respect to the regulation of conditions of the tourist trade
JELÍNKOVÁ, Zuzana
The bachelor thesis is made for the purposes of authority of The Krkonoše Mountains National Park (KRNAP). In the thesis there is documented the state of the sport activities and their position in the legislative in the area of The Krkonoše Mountains National Park and other European national parks with similar geomorphological conditions. The aim of this work is to compare the problems of sport and recreational activities and their solution in the Czech national park and in comparison to the foreign countries. The alternative aim of this thesis is the proposal of sustainable arrangements which are successfully used in the foreign countries and that would be possible to implement them to the Czech legislative defining the conditions of travel movement in the national parks.
The development of volleyball rules from the beginning until today
Jelínková, Zuzana ; Kašpar, Ladislav (advisor) ; Jandová, Soňa (referee)
The first part of this thesis is addressing the general characteristics of volleyball including the game content and its mechanics. In the next part, the author aims to describe the important events of the volleyball history both in the world and in the Czech Republic specifically. The main part of the paper contains detailed information about the evolution of volleyball rules together with the most important adjustments from the beginning until today, in chronological order. The final part of the thesis compares the development of several chosen rules, outlining their advantages, disadvantages, and potential impacts on the game. Keywords: volleyball, rules, development, history, beginning, today, the Czech Republic, world
Faults in the swim pattern technique character in children of age category 4 to 6 years
Jelínková, Zuzana ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Dlouhý, Martin (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to assess the level of technique of the swimming method charakter in children of the age category 4 to 6 years. Based on the observations and evaluation scale, define the most commonly occurring errors in the swim method character and on the children of the swim partition. Based on these findings, establish a training plan aimed at eliminating these errors. Subsequet evaluation of the progress of children in the age category (4- 6).
Studium vlastností neutrin pomocí NOvA detektoru
Jelínková, Zuzana ; Soustružník, Karel (advisor) ; Zálešák, Jaroslav (referee)
The NOνA experiment is a long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiment designed to measure electron neutrinos (νe) appearing in the NuMI beam, a muon neutrino (νµ) source at Fermilab. Its two detectors, Near and Far, are functionally identical active tracking calorimeters. This thesis is focused on the relative calibration of the Near Detector. The individual steps of the process, threshold, shadowing and attenuation calibration, are described. For the calibration, NOνA standardly uses cosmic muons. Alternative source, so called rock muons which are muons that originated from interactions of beam νµs with a rock surrounding the Near Detector, is introduced. The thesis guides through the development of selection criteria used to distinguish rock muon tracks from the data. Selected sample of rock muon tracks is used for the relative calibration and at each step the results are compared to the cosmic muons based calibration. The whole analysis is performed using simulated Monte Carlo data. 1
