Developement and comparison of pupil athletic performance in sporting and non-sporting classes at secondary school

Submitted master thesis brings in comparison of the motive effectiveness measurements undergone in sixth to ninth grades grammar school pupils in classes with extended physical education programs and classes with normal physical education program. We performed some tests on boys as well as girls in running on 50 m distance, running, long jump, throwing of medicine-ball (2 kg) an. In majority of tests was confirmed hypothesizes about higher motive effectiveness of pupils from sport classes compared to classical classes.

Relation of Lifestyle and Physical Fitness of Sporting and Non-Sporting Pupils at General Grammar School This thesis compares the lifestyle standards of the Pupils at General Grammar School, who do sports regularly with the lifestyle standards of those who don't. Furthermore, it identifies the impact of this on their physical fitness and preferences associated with the healthy lifestyle. The thesis examines and compares the difference in the physical fitness and lifestyle of boys and girls. The work has two parts - theoretical basis and research. The theoretical part defines health, physical fitness and preferences associated with the healthy lifestyle. The research evaluates the results of the physical fitness testing and processes the survey whose objective was to determine the quality of lifestyle of Pupils at General Grammar School. . Motivation of primary and secondary schools to sport

ABSTACT: This bachelor thesis studies the main sources of motivation of elementary- and secondary- school children to participate in physical activities and compares the differences in motivation. In addition, it explores factors that influence the choice of sports field, in particular the social context (parents, friends, availability etc.) and the different a approach to sports among girls and boys. In the theoretical part, I define relevant terminology regarding motivation, physical activity, exercise and sports. Then, I focus on the distinctive aspects of upper elementary- and secondary-school age groups and the specific conditions and opportunities to engage in sports in Jilemnice. The practical part describes the applied methods and the research that was performed among the students of the elementary and secondary schools in Jilemnice in the form of questionnaire. Finally, the research is evaluated. The results and collected data are presented in tabular and chart form.

Requarding their choice, frequence and preferences of sport in their free time. The first section represents specifics of adolescent students from the prospective of behavioural psychology. The next part is focused on theory of leasure time, physical activity, sport and its clasification and lifestyle. The following empirical section is aimed at types of leasure activities in different kinds of highschools located in Prague In the conclusion there are various possibilities and recommendation demonstrated to prove the impact not only on theory but also practice.

Point out anatomical, physiological, psychological, performance, technical and tactical factors affecting training processes and training units in men's and women's ice hockey. Using a questionnaire among players and coaches, I examined the knowledge of specific gender needs and their placement in the training units, knowledge of competition systems and game plans, differences in rules and men's and women's ice hockey. Furthermore, player and coaching history and hockey coaching education. Using a questionnaire among public, I examined opinions on female players and women's ice hockey, differences in attendance and viewership of men's and women's matches, knowledge of male and female players, teams and international successes of national hockey teams. I compared average age, weight and height of male players in Tipsport Extraliga and female players in women's league. I also compared the amount of training units of men's team HC Verva Litvínov and women's team HC Litvínov in the season 2014/2015. Popularity of physical education and sport among pupils of younger and older school age

TITLE: Popularity of physical education and sport among pupils of younger and older school age. AUTHOR: Lenka Floreová DEPARTMENT: Department of Physical Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. PaedDr. Ladislav Kašpar, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The aim of this work is finding popularity of PE and sport for pupils younger and older school age in Kladno and the surrounding villages. The survey was conducted through questionnaires completed by 313 respondents. The questionnaire was focused on finding the popularity of sports and attitude of pupils toward physical educations. The goal was to find out what respondents like and dislike at PE classes, what other sport activities pupils perform outside of school and what attracts them try. Questionnaire was also finding out reasons of the popularity and unpopularity of PE and sports activities. The results of this thesis were evaluated using mathematical and statistical methods, and inscribed in the charts and tables. Both sexes were compared on the basis of responses of the research as same as younger and older school ages, and respondents from Kladno and rural schools in Kladno neighbourhood.
