Study of energy transitions in laser induced plasma
Hošek, Martin ; Prochazka, David (referee) ; Klus, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with study of influence of experimental conditions on self-absorption of chosen spectral lines of magnesium. At first, basic knowledge necessary for correct understanding of experiment and interpretation of it are described, then results of experiment with appropriate comments are presented.
Energy independence and optimization of energy consumption with use renewable sources and smart wiring in house
Kaděra, Jan ; Hošek, Milan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on optimization of electric energy consumption in household and its energetic independence. There is an overview of available energy sources for household and possibilities of its accumulation. Next, the function of system electrical wiring is described and compared with systems in today‘s market. In more detail, the thesis deals with description of FOXTROT control system developed by the company TECO a. s. and with possibilities of its application. The study describes savings optimization from both investment and operation perspective. A comparison of appliances of two energy classes in current prices is done, as well as a comparison of one-way and two-way pricing. Savings opportunities in lighting system, temperature control and appliance division according to their manageability are demonstrated. A calculator for photovoltaic system was created which provides return time of investment upon input parameters. A part of the thesis is a project documentation realized as a stage of a household object study, on which optimization opportunities are demonstrated.
Comparison of quantification strategies in Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy
Hošek, Martin ; Hrdlička, Aleš (referee) ; Prochazka, David (advisor)
The aim of the submitted work is a comparison of methods of quantitative analysis used in laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). The principles of LIBS method are explained at first, followed by a research of the most often used methods of quantitative analysis. The next part provides their description enabling a better comprehension and an eventual use of the methods in practice. Finally, the chosen methods are used to process data from the real experiment and the results are compared.
Software Support of Financial Analyze for Small Firm
Hošek, Martin ; Suchánková, Veronika (referee) ; Režňáková, Mária (advisor)
The bachelor thesis Software Support of the Financial Analysis of the Company deals with the financial situation of the enterprise using the produced software for calculating the financial analysis. Its theoretical part describes the basic methods of financial analysis, the financial indexes, the background of the language Visual Basic. The second part deals with the programme whose backbone is created by Excel and Microsoft Visual Basic. In the following part of the thesis the financial analysis of a concrete company was carried out, focussing on significant financial characteristics.
The Feasibility Study of Small Company
Hošek, Martin ; Čech, Jan (referee) ; Koráb, Vojtěch (advisor)
This masters’s thesis deals with a feasibility study of restaurant creation, which should fill a gap in the market. Suggestions for a solution relating to the enterprise and enabling the company to optimally entry to the market are presented, based on theoretical knowledge, empirical facts and analysis.
Business Plan
Hošek, Martin ; Pospíšil, Robert (referee) ; Heralecký, Tomáš (advisor)
The purpose of the thesis is to develop a business plan for creation of a new company that will run a social network for artists. The social network will bring together differently oriented artists and will provide them the opportunity to present their art work in digital form. The profit for the company will be realized by providing advertising space on websites of the social network and via fees for premium accounts from its users.
Comparison of swimming education in the Czech Republic and selected European countries
Hošek, Martin ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Chvostek, Lukáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to provide information on the differences in swimming education between the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Norway and Sweden using available sources and a survey. The thesis focuses on the comparison of swimming education programmes in the main and primary schools of the surveyed countries, including the levels of teaching and the diagnosis of swimming level. Furthermore, the thesis examines differences in the methodology and didactics of swimming instruction, not only in schools but also in swimming clubs. The thesis also provides information on the compulsory education of teachers, coaches and swimming instructors in the countries studied. I hope that the work will be useful for teachers and coaches in swimming training. KEYWORDS teaching, swimming lessons, pupils, swimming methods, curriculum, swimming skills, students
System for scanning hydrogen cyanide absorption lines
Hošek, Martin ; Řeřucha, Šimon ; Hrabina, Jan ; Čížek, Martin ; Pravdová, Lenka ; Číp, Ondřej
The definition of both meter and second relies on precisely measured frequency. The convenient sources of such frequencies are lasers stabilized by molecular vapours. The He-Ne lasers stabilized by iodin vapours represent the cornerstone sources in the visible spectrum. On the other hand, the infrared spectrum (particularly the 1550 nm C-band) is of metrological interest thanks to its cost-effective, readily available components. The widely used absorption media at 1550 nm has been two acetylene isotopes (12C2H2, 13C2H2), while H13C14N represents an alternative covering a wider spectrum well corresponding to the telecommunication C-band. The 2ν3 rotational-vibrational band had been investigated, but due to the use of not-so-precise methods, the presented data feature high uncertainty compared to acetylene data. We represent methods that will lead to precise assessments of hydrogen cyanide's absorption line centres with the potential to introduce HCN to Mise en Pratique, making it an internationally recognized source of precise frequency for the realization of traceable laser etalons.
Laser spectroscopy and absorption spectra of HCN
Hošek, Martin ; Hrabina, Jan ; Řeřucha, Šimon ; Pravdová, Lenka ; Lazar, Josef ; Číp, Ondřej
Hydrogen Cyanide (specifically isotope H13C14N) has significant potential as an absorption medium for the frequency stabilised lasers’ realisation because its absorption spectrum covers the whole telecommunication C-band (1530-1565 nm). The broad absorption spectrum can be used not only for calibration of optical telecommunication devices but also for modern interferometric methods that are useful for measuring macroscale objects (e.g., FSI - frequency scanning interferometry). Our research aims to precisely characterise the profile of HCN’s spectral lines and determine the optical frequency of absorption lines’ corresponding centres.
Legal regulation of specially protected areas in Czech Republic and in the Russian Federation
Borovskaya, Elena ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Hošek, Michael (referee)
The offered thesis focuses on the legal regulation of specially protected areas in the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation. The thesis' objective is to present an explicit overview of the two countries' national systems comprising protected areas from the legal point of view. The thesis includes an explanation of the basic concepts related to specially protected areas in terms of nature and landscape preservation. The author starts with a concise introduction to the issue's background, and then dwells upon constitutional principles for nature conservation, related legislation and a range of categories of specially protected areas in the two countries. The basic legislation concerning specially protected areas in the Czech Republic is the Nature and Landscape Protection Act, while in the Russian Federation that function is played by Specially Protected Natural Areas Act. The thesis includes an analysis of selected legal issues, namely issues related to legal proclamation and cancellation of the status of specially protected areas, special protection regime, state administration functions, implementation of ownership and other rights. The analysis is followed by a comparison of legal regulations concerning specially protected areas and the conclusion where the author summarizes the most...
