The main goal of this bachelor thesis is get to know with the data mining and its domain, also with the Knowledge discovery in databases process. It shows the most importnant approaches, which are implemented in Python language afterwards. The case study contains the prediction of index S&P 500 describing stock market developments on the US stock exchange. Both classification and regression models are used for the forecasting. Model evaluation is reached by the Monte Carlo experimental method.

Vliv kompetice na růst výmladků dubu zimního na výzkumné ploše Hády

This thesis deals with competition effect on sprouts growth of sessile oak (Quercus petraea agg.). It analyze dimensions and growth of sprouts in 5 growing seasons. It investigates competition effect to height increment and diameter increment of sprouts on areas in corversion to coppice and coppice with standarts. Measurement was realized in the area of ŠLP Křtiny, specifically on research area Hády. It was found, that with increasing age decrease the number of sprouts gradually. It was demonstrated, that sprouts are growing better, and achieves a higher dimensions in area without standarts. Competition effect was certified to height increment and diameter increment at the entire growth period.

Morphological adaptation of anglicisms in Czech and Spanish from online video games.

The objective of our thesis is to present the morphological adaptation of anglicisms in the context of online video games in Spanish and Czech through an analysis of the written communication of Spanish- and Czech-speaking online video game players. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part comprises of the definition of online video games and their environment, the language of video game players and their communication. It further includes the definition of Anglicisms, their adaptation with a focus on the morphological adaptation and the morphological characteristics of Czech and Spanish with respect to the categories of nouns, abbreviations and verbs. In the second part, we focus on morphological adaptations of Anglicisms from the online video game environment with the help of the twitch.tv website and the Araneum Bohemicum Maius and Araneum Hispanicum Maius corpora. The thesis also encompasses a summary in Spanish.

Anglicisms in online video games in Spanish and in Czech

The objective of our thesis is to describe the topic of anglicisms in the on-line videogames area used by spanish and czech gamers, which are analysed in the practical part. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part includes the definiton of anglicisms, on-line videogames, the issue of anglicisms in this area and also the mechanisms of adaptation in spanish and czech. In the practical part we deal with the analysis of anglicisms from the internet page twitch.com and corpus Araneum Bohemicum Maius and Araneum Hispanicum Maius. After the analysis of every anglicism follows a bilingual glossary and a summary in spanish language.

State and War: Development of the Concept

The history of international law, understood as an object of intersubjective reality, reflected various territorial structures of human society. States, as bearers of international law, were made in course of history by wars that they led with each other. On the basis of thought of Carl Schmitt we can distinguish two historical structures of territory: the universal medieval empire and the modern sovereign states. Both of these structures were connected with distinct systems of international law and with distinct concepts of war. Since the turn of 19th and 20th century we can observe signs of decline of the Westphalian system of sovereign states. This process, accompanied by changes in concept of war, began to be fully expressed at the beginning of the 21st century in connection with so called war on terror. On the juridical concepts of war on terror and humanitarian intervention I show decline of the Westphalian system of sovereign states and possible return to the international structure of the medieval empire.
