Evaluation of functionality of ventilation outlet in passenger car cabin
Caletka, Petr ; Kamenský, Petr (referee) ; Jedelský, Jan (advisor)
This work engages in flow boundaries detection that flows from a car ventilation outlet. Smoke visualization was chosen for the flow visibility. There were applied three detection methods on the pictures with different types of quality. It was evaluated a suitability of these detection methods for the pictures with different types of quality. This suitability was evaluated based on the detected shapes of the flow and obviously based on the detected direction angles.
Evaluation of functionality of several modifications of ventilation outlet for passenger car cabin
Caletka, Petr ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Jedelský, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with determination of boundaries of the flow from a benchmark automotive vent (right-front situated – in front of a front passenger) using the smoke visualization. In this thesis is tested a pack of eight different constructional variants which differ among them by the type of deflection grille. The angles of the flow borders are compared to specific directional requirements (defined by ŠKODA AUTO a.s.) and there is evaluated a directability of each of the constructional variant on the bases of these results. The results of experiments show that better directability in vertical plane achieve deflection grilles with horizontal vanes situated closer to orifice of the vent or deflection grilles with higher number of horizontal vanes and lower number of vertical vanes (independently of their location). Directability of the deflection grilles in horizontal plane is analogically better with vertical vanes situated closer to orifice of the vent or with deflection grilles with higher number of vertical vanes and lower number of horizontal vanes (independently of their location).
Awareness of pediatric patients and their parents before anesthesia
Caletka, Petr ; Marková, Eva (advisor) ; Novák, Ivan (referee)
The primary aim of the thesis was to describe current awareness system of pediatric patients and their parents before anaesthesia and whether and to what extent the two groups are informed about anaesthesia. Furthermore, the thesis presents actual opinions of both responding groups on the current state of clinical practice and suggestions for its improvement. In accordance with available sources, so far no similar research has been carried out in the Czech Republic. A total number of 215 respondents at two biggest teaching hospitals in the Czech Republic have been addressed (Teaching Hospital Motol, Prague and Teaching Hospital Brno), the survey was finished by 131 people (60.93 %). Consequently, the questionnaire output was statistacally processed. The findings demonstrate a need of an improved anaesthesia awareness of pediatric patients and parents before the surgery. Obviously, both parents and children require printed information materials, although parents still tend to prefer rather the oral form - the anaesthesia interview. Legal responsibility in collective sports
Caletka, Petr ; Beran, Karel (advisor) ; Wintr, Jan (referee)
Legal responsibility in collective sports The purpose of my thesis is to analyse legal responsibility in collective sports. I focus on football, specifically on issues related to football referee, in particular his responsibility for decisions made in the game. The thesis is composed of eight chapters. After Introduction there is Chapter one, which is concentrated on relationship between law and sport. In this chapter is briefly described historical development of this relationship and theoretical problems with definition of sport. Attention is paid to the concept of "sports law" and its "sources". Chapter two is devoted to the analysis of case study. It is a media coverage case, which hit the top Czech football competition at the turn of 2003 and 2004. Chapter three is devoted to the interpretation of football as a game. The reader is familiar with the basic standards of sports and is explained the position of the referee in the term of Laws of the Game. Gradually, as based on the stripped case (chapter two) raises the question whether the referee may be legally responsible for hid decision made during the game. In chapter four is then interpreted by the concept of an erroneous decision and its relationship to the legal order. The following chapter five and interpretation of referee's criminal...

Czech Republic and the adoption of euro on the background of macroeconomic imbalances
Caletka, Petr ; Bič, Josef (advisor) ; Žamberský, Pavel (referee)
This work is aimed to determine whether the Czech Republic is ready to enter to the third stage of European economic and monetary union which is associated with the adoption of the euro, and that regarding the fulfillment of the formal entry criteria and also in terms of alignment of the Czech economy with the rest of the eurozone. On that basis evaluate whether it is advantageous for the country to adopt the euro. The first part introduces the different stages of regional integration, as well as the theory of optimum currency areas and economic governance in the European Union. The second chapter is devoted to evaluate the readiness of the Czech Republic to join the euro zone from three perspectives. First, fulfillment of nominal convergence criteria is evaluated. Real convergence and macroeconomic imbalances within the euro area are assessed using cluster analysis. The second approach is to analyze whether EMU constitute an optimal currency area. At the end the experience, of three countries of the eastern enlargement, with changeover to a common currency are presented.
