Scope of responsibilities of a teaching assistant at primary schools

The diploma thesis "The work of a teaching assistant in primary schools" deals with the work of a teaching assistant and his cooperation and communication with other participants in the educational process such as parents, teachers and pupils with special educational needs and the assistant was assigned to them. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts and laws related to the profession of a teaching assistant. An integral part of this work is to get acquainted with the basic activities of a teaching assistant, his position in classes and schools. In this profession, there has been a change in the decree on the education of pupils with special educational needs, which is described here. There are also funding opportunities, an idea of the current state of assistants in Czech education and the procedure of each school headmaster, how to apply for assistants. The empirical part deals with the methodology of the research survey, the method of which is in the form of a questionnaire and an interview. The aim is to find out the work of a teaching assistant with an emphasis on the cooperation of a teaching assistant and a teacher at common lower secondary school. Foundation of Czech Gardening Academy Mělník-and present time

The Bachelor thesis deals with the establishment of the Czech Gardening Academy in Melnik and its current situation. The theoretical part examines the history of Melnik and introduces selected local winemakers. It describes the establishment of the first Secondary Wine and Fruit Growing School in Melnik and its organization such as the form of entrance exams, school subjects, vocational training,and final exams. Additionally, it addresses the current school status and organization - it explores the current form of entrance exams, school subjects, study specializations, vocational training and achievements of the students of the school. The other part of the theoretical part focuses on the school from the didactic and social point of view. A comparison between the school's past and present is made in the practical part of the thesis. There are interviews with the current headmistress of the school and one of the school graduates.
