Options to ensure information security by defining a standard behavior of employees
Dvořák, Martin ; Říhová, Zora (advisor) ; Čapek, Jan (referee) ; Novák, Luděk (referee) ; Němec, Petr (referee)
Continually the number of transactions carried out electronically via the internet has grown, as well as the number of users of IT (information technology). In the same way are accruing transactions that may be at risk in terms of information security as well as an increasing number of security incidents threatening financial gain or thefts of sensitive information. Attackers carried out attacks in order to make financial gains using more sophisticated methods, sophisticated not only using information technology but also using social engineering techniques. This growing trend is known about by governments and measures are being taken to help increase the information security of the state. This is evidenced by the fact that the European Parliament recently approved the following Directive Directive of the European parliament and of the council concerning measures to ensure a high common level of network and information security across the Union and the ensuing law on cyber security (Act No. 181/2014 Coll.) adopted by the Parliament of the Czech Republic in the summer of 2014. This act orders organizations which are maintaining critical infrastructure to implement a system to evaluate cybersecurity events (user behavior). So far no unified approach to implement such systems has been defined. Author defines standardized methodology for implementation of systems which evaluate user behavior with focus on optimization of data which these systems have to process to ensure their efficient functionality.
Management of agile software development projects based on PRINCE2 and Scrum
Tománek, Martin ; Říhová, Zora (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee) ; Šimek, Radek (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (referee)
Software development projects often fail. Recently the agile software development frameworks have been massively adopted and used to overcome the root causes of the project failure. The use of the agile frameworks results in the more successful delivery of smaller software development projects. Companies however implemented in the past many generic project management frameworks and still use them to manage the full portfolio of their projects especially the medium and large software development projects. In such cases the agile development teams are organized in projects that are managed by project managers according to these generic project management frameworks. Both these frameworks must be analysed and tailored carefully to be successfully applied together. The objective of this dissertation thesis is to design the agile software development project management framework based on PRINCE2 and Scrum frameworks. The benefits of this new framework are the enrichment of the simple agile framework Scrum by project management elements and the enrichment of the generic project management framework PRINCE2 by the agile principles and agile team management practices. The first part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of project management and agile development frameworks. The main focus is on the current usage, the measurement of the project success and the identification of problems that the projects face to. Prior to the design of the new framework the research was executed in the global company to discover the specific problems in software development projects and to measure the actual project success rate. The framework is then designed in the next part. The framework was successfully implemented in the same global company and the project success rate was again analysed. The result is positive and the implementation of this framework resulted in the improved project success rate. Also two additional case studies were conducted to check the viability of the designed framework.

Kozelková, Barbora ; Říhová, Zora (advisor) ; Truhlář, Filip (referee)
This thesis deals with the quality of e-learning from the perspective of employees in Czech companies. The aim of the study was to detect the most common shortcomings of current solutions and see which properties, methods, and practices improve the quality and efficiency. Based on these findings, the author makes recommendations to suppliers and creates e-learning courses that address these shortfalls. In the theoretical part, the concept of e-learning is defined, its forms, types, advantages, disadvantages, standards and development methods, such as ADDIE and Rapid e-learning are desribed. Research in the practical section showed that the quality, which has been calculated as mean of evaluated criteria, is 3.7 points out of 5. Potential improvement was observed especially in organisation-wide training (eg workflows) supplied as ready-made solutions. The author created a course for Microsoft Project 2013 in Articulate Storyline that demonstrates best practices and solutions to the problems revealed in the questionnaire.
