Rolejček, Jan ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor) ; Vágner, Michal (referee)
Title: Normalization study of motoric tests deadlift and medicine ball throw overhead backwards among members of the combat support battalion. Objective: The aim of this study is to establish performance standards for the three- repetition maximum deadlift and the backward medicine ball throw overhead. The resulting standards will subsequently be used to expand the test battery for the occupational assessment in the 141st Supply Battalion. Methods: Standardized testing was employed, followed by the establishment of performance standards. The research sample of 204 participants was divided into three categories based on gender and performance groups. IBM SPSS Statistics, a statistical software program, was used for data analysis. Data normality was assessed for each category using the Shapiro-Wilk test, and graphical verification was conducted using Q-Q plots. Performance standards were created using a quartile-based calculation method, employing a four- point scale with ratings of excellent, good, satisfactory, and unsatisfactory. Results: For performance group C of males, the following standards were established for the deadlift exercise: excellent = 115 kg and above; good = 103 kg and above; satisfactory = 90 kg and above; performances lower than 90 kg are considered unsatisfactory. For...

Fanta, Matěj ; Vágner, Michal (advisor) ; Sýkora, Karel (referee)
Title: Physical load in simulated sustained military operations: a systematic review Objective: To create an overview and description of the physical load that soldiers undergo in simulated sustained operations. Methods: The method chosen to create this bachelor's thesis was a systematic review of literature and studies related to sustained military operations. The thesis was conducted according to the international PRISMA recommendations. Based on the aim of the thesis and the research question, a script was created to identify potentially relevant studies through the Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus and SPORTDiscus databases. To the systematically identified studies, studies from other sources obtained through non- systematic searching were added. Selected studies that met the predefined inclusion criteria underwent a methodological quality assessment, followed by processing and analysis of the selected data. Results: The systematic review included 42 studies with participation of 872 men and 69 women. However, a number of these studies were published based on data from larger investigations, or some of the articles were a continuation of previously published studies. In some cases, the protocols described were identical. For this reason, only 26 studies that followed different protocols are...
The normalization study of the motoric tests focusing on strength, endurance and dexterity performance at the artillery and air force military personnel.
Šrámek, Antonín ; Vágner, Michal (advisor) ; Sovák, Libor (referee)
The normalization study of the motoric tests focusing on strength, endurance and dexterity performance at the artillery and air force military personnel. The physical preparedness of soldiers is an important component of the military's combat capability. In peacetime, soldiers increase their physical level in all-military training, where they also undergo physical performance examinations. Standardised motor tests are used for the objective assessment of physical performance, where it is necessary to set the norms to which the performance is assessed. The objectives This diploma thesis aimed to set the normsfor the motor test "Deadlift", "Hand Release Push-up", "3000-Metre Run" and "Carrying the Load", in which reliability during repeated measurements was also assessed. The method The research set consisted of 105 artillerymen for the first three above mentioned motor tests and 65 men (44 artillerymen and 21 men from the helicopter airbase) for "Carrying the Load". The set of soldiers was divided into age groups within five years. To calculate the norms, the normal distribution of the data was first verified and then the possible difference between the ages was compared using parametric and non-parametric ANOVA. Potential differences between the categories were compared using the Mann-Whitney test...

Mašek, David ; Vágner, Michal (advisor) ; Maleček, Jan (referee)
Title: Exercises and motor tests used for military personnel training and testing: a systematic review. Objective: The aim of this bachelor thesis was to determine what exercises and motor tests are most commonly used to develop and test strength abilities in military personnel and then compare their frequency and purpose of use in military training. Methods: This bachelor thesis was conducted in the form of a systematic review dealing with exercises and motor tests designed for training and testing the strength abilities of military personnel. The methodological procedure of the study was conducted based on the recommendation of PRISMA. To initially select potentially suitable studies, a script was constructed and used to search the Web of Science, Scopus, and PubMed databases. A non- systematic search of the Google Scholar database was conducted for added other studies. The selected studies had to meet predefined inclusion criteria, and all studies were checked for risk of bias before inclusion in the systematic review. Results: When testing the strength of military personnel, the highest frequency was recorded in motor tests, where the resistance was formed by the weight of one's own body (cranks, seats, and push-ups). Furthermore, strength endurance testing prevailed over other types of...
Endurance skills and their testing in the military environment: a systematic review
Matoušek, Ondřej ; Maleček, Jan (advisor) ; Vágner, Michal (referee)
Title: Endurance skills and their testing in a military: a systematic review Aim: This thesis aims to create an overview of the frequency of tests used to test long-term, total and dynamic endurance in military personnel based on a systematic search of scientific publications. Methods: A systematic search method was used to create this bachelor thesis, based on a referred selection of items according to PRISMA recommendations. After defining the research question and objectives of the thesis, a search script was constructed through predefined keywords in the bibliographic and citation databases Web of Science, Scopus and PubMed. Studies that met the predefined criteria were used for data processing and subsequent synthesis. Lastly, studies underwent a methodological quality assessment. Results: The most commonly used test evaluated was the 3.2 km run, which included 44 of the 131 studies included in this systematic review. This is primarily due to the numerous representation of studies from the USA and their Army APFT test. The next most frequently used test evaluated was loaded marching, which may have a more significant transfer to the military context. The most common distance was also 3.2 km, found in 19 of 131 sources, with a relatively diverse range of loads (15 - 44.7 kg), with the most...

44BSTRAKT Nazev práce: Využití somatických znaků a motorických testů rychlostních a koordi- načních schopností pro yýběr vojáků do kurzů boje zblízka. Anglický název práce: The use of somatic features and motor tests of speed and coordination abilities for the selection of soldiers participating in close combat courses. K navržení množiny proměn ných jsme využili algoritmu všech možných regresí (All Possible Regression). K ověření vybrané množiny proměnných jsme využili...
