History of sports newsroom in Czechoslovak/Czech Radio

The thesis deals with the history of the sports editorial office in essence for 95 years of radio broadcasting. Sports broadcasts began to be part of the broadcast just a few years after broadcasting and became an integral part of the broadcast. These broadcasts were first reported by Josef Laufer, later a separate editorial was created. This was significantly influenced by the Communist regime until 1990, although it had no direct influence on the broadcast itself. For their versatility, the sports editors were also engaged in significant non- sporting events as well as participating significantly in the broadcasting of the 1968 August events. After the Revolution, the editorial staff had to be redesigned and coped with the emergence of new media that took its exclusivity on the radio sporting results. Nowadays, sports editors face severe competition in the online world and internet communications, but at the same time they must also create content for these new media.

Cabaret "Červená sedma" in the light of archival materials of Czech Radio

This bachelor's thesis maps the situation, in which the archive of the "Červená sedma" cabaret, that is in large part deposited in rooms of the Czech Radio archive, in the present days is found. It compares the dates from the former catalogue, that was managed by the members of the cabaret themselves, with the real today's situation. It even shows individual differences and discrepancies, that were during the revision found. This thesis also concentrates on the "Červená sedma" as a part of the Czech or more precisely the Czechoslovak Radio broadcasting and encourages programmes, in which this company occured, either directly by its members, or indirectly through the actors of other generations or memorial programmes devoted to it.

Radio drama and its origin in Czechoslovak broadcasting

This thesis focus on the part of the radio history, which was not comprehensively described in professional literature yet. It analyzes beginning of the radio drama in Czechoslovakia. Theme compilate a lot of different sources and in many ways do pioneering job. This thesis is separated into a few parts. At first, thesis focuses on the brief history of radio in twenties and thirties of the last century, which is necessary to understand the evolution of radio drama. Also it describes what radio drama is and how it's created. The main part is dedicated to the history of radio drama in First Czechoslovak Republic with the mention of principal characters. In the thesis there is also information about the essential radio dramas. Radio Broadcasting for the German Minority in the Czech lands until 1945 with an emphasis of the Mělník Brodcast Transmitter

The thesis Radio Broadcasting for the German Minority in the Czech Countries until the Year 1945, with the Example of the Melnik Broadcast Transmitter describes the radio broadcasting for the German people living in Bohemia and Moravia in the period from its formation until the year 1945. It concentrates on the radio broadcaster in Melnik that was built in 1938 with the purpose of giving a special broadcasting to the German minority living in the Czech countries. The analytical part is divided into three sections: broadcasting for the Germans in the First and Second Republic and Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Another chapter focuses on the broadcasting from The Soviet Union (especially on the broadcaster Sudetendeutscher Freiheitssender) and Great Britain. It focuses on the contrasting access to the radio broadcasting for this group from the side of the Czech political representation and from the side of the German state. The Sudeten Germans have focused their attention to the German stations, which were offering them more popular program. The origins of sports radio broadcasting in the territory of Czechoslovakia (1923-1948)

This thesis describes the development of the sports broadcasting in Czechoslovakia in the form of the practical research and historical analysis. The examined period starts in 1923 as the beginning of the existence of Radiojournal - the first radio station in Czechoslovakia and is defined by the year 1948. The thesis is systematically divided into five periods in which I describe the first signs of the interest in the sport in a regular radio broadcasting, first major sports events broadcasted by Radiojournal, organizational, personnel and technical background, marginal sports. Selected sport events with greater or minor importance are also described, as they were gradually transmitted by Radiojournal or Czechoslovak Radio in different periods. The thesis also mentions the occupation of the Czechoslovak Republic during the World War II, when has the interest in the sports radio broadcasting decreased but not vanished completely. There are outlined the activities of Josef Laufer during this period too. Laufer was Czechoslovak icon of the sports radio broadcasting. There is described the personnel expansion and the development of the independent sports redaction in the postwar period. Women in radioand radio for women in thirties

The master thesis with topic "Female broadcasters in Czechoslovakian radio and radio for women" is describing, based on historical events during thirties in the twentieth century, development of radios broadcasting in Czechoslovakia. In the first chapter the author devotes to technical development, new inventions, international broadcasting and further censorship and radios reorganizations. By signature of Munich's agreement emerged special institution for censorship, which caused problems to some employees of Radiojournal. Important part of this chapter is also introducing Prague's program conception and Brno's studio, which became a big rival to the capital. Second chapter is devoted to the analysis of program called "Radio for women". The most important part of master thesis introduces topics, which were typical for examined period and which were prepared mainly for female listeners. Lectures were connected with cooking, household, upbringing or studies. Woman was understood mainly as expectant mother taking care of babies and household.
