Activities of the SKPOS National Service Center

The National Service Center of the Slovak Real-time Positioning Service (SKPOS NSC) does not perform only operation of the national positioning service, management of the service users and handling of the control software. It ensures many other interesting activities, such as detailed testing of the real-time service, checking the data quality of the SKPOS reference stations, processing the SKPOS network using Bernese software, analyzing the geokinematics of Slovakia, modernization of the network by searching for suitable potential locations for new reference stations or building the so-called National Reflector Network connecting GNSS and InSAR technologies. To work with data SKPOS NSC uses commercial software, as well as its own developed applications and scripts. It also operates a website and a Facebook funpage. In addition, NSC SKPOS is an EPN operation center, which manages reference stations in Slovakia included in the permanent EUREF network (EPN), contributes with daily or weekly network coordinate solutions to the EPN Densification project. Within the E-GVAP and HUSKROUA projects, it contributes with hourly near-real-time station data to the weather forecast predictions. Besides that, it performs quality control of selected international real-time networks within the European Position Determination System (EUPOS) initiative. Machine vision for product inspection

The diploma thesis deals with machine vision in connection with robotic production systems. The theoretical part deals with machine vision hardware, principles and characteristics of machine vision, typical tasks in connection with machine vision, robot guidance using a camera, logical tasks for image processing in the TwinCAT program. The practical part focuses on the design of a robotic workplace with a camera to control the rotation of the part. This workplace was first put into operation virtually and then tested at a real workplace.

Residence Dlouha - Building Contruction Project

The subject of this diploma thesis is the building construction project of Residence Dlouha in Olomouc. It is an apartment building with two to four floors and a basement with garages. The diploma thesis contains a time and finance schedule, a site equipment project and technological procedure of a cast-in-place reinforced concrete floor and a green roof including a quality control. Moreover, a set of machines, usage options of a tower crane or a mobile crane and usage options of a mobile pump or a concrete container have been processed for this building. During the building process it is cared about work safety and environment protection.

Draft measures to reduce customer complaints

This diploma thesis deals with customer complaints of headlamps in Automotive Lighting s.r.o. The goal is to analyze the state of customer complaints for 2018 and to evaluate the biggest source of nonconformities in terms of the type of complaint based on Pareto analysis. The thesis focuses on solution of one particular type of complaint. The key part of the thesis is also the processing of the process analysis, the evaluation of the causes of the complaint and the draft of corrective measures that would eliminate the problem. The conclusion of the thesis contains evaluation of the proposed corrective measures, including from the economic point of view.

Machine vision for robot guidance

Master's thesis deals with the design, assembly, and testing of a camera system for localization of randomly placed and oriented objects on a conveyor belt with the purpose of guiding a robot on those objects. The theoretical part is focused on research in individual components making a camera system and on the field of 2D and 3D localization of objects. The practical part consists of two possible arrangements of the camera system, solution of the chosen arrangement, creating testing images, programming the algorithm for image processing, creating HMI, and testing the complete system.

Technological solution for the education complex in Brno

This master’s thesis deals with construction of the gross building of new building of learning complex FEKT VUT in Brno. It contains the design of earthworks, underground setting piles, monolithic structures and isolation of the building for further construction. Construction and technological project includes technical report, time and financial plan of construction, study of the implementation of major technological stages of site preparation, budget of facilities, technological regulation to solved stages, inspection and test plan of monolithic structures, health and safety plan and energy label of objects.

Implementation of the Subtructure of an Apartment Building

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the constructional-technological solution of the substructure of an apartment building in Zlin. It is an object with five floors and a basement with garages. The building is based on drilled piles. The bachelor's thesis includes a construction plan with a site equipment, technological procedure of earthworks and drilled piles. A set of machines, a quality control, a budget and a time schedule have been processed for this technological phase. During the building process it is cared about work safety and environment protection.

Analysis of Competitors Fight in Business Technology Sector

The thesis analyses competitive environment of suppliers of concurrent quality control technology in industrial enterprises and research laboratories. The thesis provides concepts for a creation of competitive advantages and related higher evaluation of costs and diferentiation than competition. Further it compares technologies from various manufacturers, comparing economical and technical parametres. The evaluation of results follows a presentation of approachs to achieve the most efficient competitors fight management. The thesis also include prognosis of future conditions in the business technology sector on Czech and Slovak market and concept of an appropriate format of effective competitive intelligence. In conclusion there is a presentation of a quality and quantity concept evaluation with emphasis on economic gain of presented solution.
