Olomouc Central European Forum

This thesis has been prepared as an architectural study. The subject of solved draft is expansion of Olomouc Museum of Art and the new building of the Central European Forum Olomouc SEFO. In the current building of the museum only street part and middle wing of first floor were significantly changed. In the space of a former cinema was placed the Music Theatre. The extension of street is part of the newly designed building SEFO. New public space is above the underground part of the building. This public space covers upper part of the building, which contain new exhibition spaces for museum. Open street part of new building is the main concept of the design.
OLOMOUC – Densification Urbaine – Urban Consolidation

The diploma thesis deals with the design of the student center of Palacký University in the city of Olomouc. And also by solving the problem of distribution of individual components of the university throughout the whole city. Part of the proposal is also the search for the optimal space for the concentration of students in one building, with the strengthening and strengthening of existing contacts and connecting the university with the city and its inhabitants.
River adaptation with Civil 3D and HEC-RAS

This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the current state of the selected section of the Morava river around the city of Olomouc and the subsequent modification and desing of the flood protection. In the first step, hydraulic flow verification using CIVIL 3D and HEC – RAS is performed. Based on the results of the 1D model, proposal river adaptation is then also executed with the aim to incerase the flow capacity and to reduce the water effusion.

The diploma thesis deals with the construction of building the Central European Forum in the vacant space on the street Denisova in Olomouc. SEFO new building is directly connected to the existing building Olomouc Museum of Art is within the urban conservation. The new facility will expand the exhibition and storage capabilities of this institution that deals with modern art. In building will be located mainly in the exhibition space and the first and sekond floor. Furthermore Library 3.NP and 4.NP. Depository, administrative offices, workshops and technical facilities are situated on two underground floors. In the courtyard garden created with exhibitions. Those are defined as two roof surfaces.
Intersection of Na Střelnici nad Lazecká Streets in Olomouc City

The intersection of the streets Na Střelnici and Lazecká in Olomouc is reconstructed as a roundabout with four branches. The aim of the renovation is to improve traffic safety at the intersection and respecting architectural principles. This project addresses the design of roundabout, analyzing problems and developed technical studies.
Wellness hotel "Na Ovčačce" - Svatý Kopeček u Olomouce

The project is newly built wellness hotel in the cadastral Svatý Kopeček, the town of Olomouc, district Olomouc. The house is in a secluded street in Darwin. On the territory are restrictions concerning the parameters solved object. Notably the location, number of floors and the percentage of stopping. This is a three-storey, basement building with a flat roof. The building is based on the footings of plain concrete and reinforced concrete footings. Supporting, peripheral and partition walls are designed from ceramic blocks POROTHERM in the upper floors of concrete formwork and fittings in the basement. Ceiling structure is designed using locally supported reinforced concrete slabs. The entire building is divided into several sections. The 1s there is an underground garage and wellness. In 1.NP is a restaurant and facilities associated with the operation of the restaurant and hotel. In 2.NP and 3.NP are single rooms. Total capacity is 155 people and has 16 employees. To the building are three main entrances. Two of them are designed as public entrance to the restaurant and hotel. The third is the entrance for staff and supplies. Among other inputs that lead from the exterior of the building is the entrance to the restaurant terrace. Another entry is possible from the underground garage to wllnessu. The proposed facility is designed wheelchair. Before the building is designed parking for 27 cars and underground garage for 44 cars. Five of parking places are for disabled people.
Analysis of Selected Methods of Valuation of Garage-Type Real Estate in the Locality of Olomouc

This master´s thesis „Analysis of Selected Methods of Valuation of Garage-Type Real Estate in the Locality of Olomouc“ compares different methods of valuation in the area. Acquired data out of the valuation are further analyzed and then evaluated. The first part describes the basic terms, location and analysis of the real estate valuation. This is followed by a description of selected garages and valuation methods. For this thesis were chosen to value the 10 properties that are located throughout the Olomouc. Garages are valued at cost method, comparative method of regulativ and comparative way, depending on the database. The resulting data are being compared and subsequently evaluated.

As the assignment reveals, this bachelor’s thesis deals with the connection between the art elementary school and the architecture center. These two functions have more in common than they might seem at first glance. Both institutions deal with public education in the field of art, which often does not receive the attention it deserves at state educational institutions. It is not just a connection to a functional unit within one area. Equally important is the connection at the thought and conceptual level. The location in which the project is located is predestined for educational institutions. Located in Olomouc near the historic center and currently in the immediate vicinity of university dormitories, at the same time on the opposite bank of Moravia there is a music elementary school Žerotín with a long tradition. The architectural design works mainly with the extension of ZUŠ to the park through the creation of separate studios. This achieves meeting the special requirements of the studios (drawing, digital painting, sculpture, ...). At the same time, the atmosphere is relaxed compared to the classic location of classrooms inside of single building. The studios are in direct contact with the life taking place in the park. The Architecture Center, on the other hand, takes on the role of the gateway to this art park and provides the technical background for the art school. Inside of the building of the center of architecture there is also a common gallery, cafe, specialized library and a lecture room. The design strives for a decent but strong connection between the center of architecture and the art school. Emphasis is placed especially on the freedom in the creative process of artists, which is why the studios are light wooden buildings with all-glass facades. The center of architecture is, in contrast to the loose settlement of the studio, a solidly set building. It communicates with the surrounding buildings by a uniform facade, which opens towards the park.
Apartments rent in Olomouc and the factors influencing them

This diploma thesis examines market rents of flats in the town of Olomouc. It probes the condition of the local real-estate flat rent market and it assesses which factors affect the price the most. That is achieved on the basis of data of realized rents gathered via questionnaire and complemented with the supply real-estate prices. The data are sorted into four categories (1+1 a 1+k, 2+1 a 2+k, 3+1 a 3+k, 4+1 a 4+k) that are mutually compared and analyzed with textual, table and graphic output. In the theoretical part of this work, the research is supported with juridical and economical definitions, which appear on the real-estate flat market. The work then states the specifics of real-estate market and comments on the changes in the new civil code of law. It also gives a brief overview of the basics of the housing policy theory.
Suburbanization of the Olomouc city and its impact on city center and surroundings

This thesis focuses on residential suburbanization within Olomouc city and its surroundings. The aim of the thesis is to determine the degree of intensity of suburbanization of individual settlemements based on the available data. Pursuant evaluation, the settlements with higher suburbanization intensity will be selected and subjected to investigation. The purpose of the investigation is to determine the extent of influence by these processes and what the settlement with higher suburbanisation intensity brings to the citizens. Subsequently, the selected sites and their newly build environement will be assessed from urbanistic and architectural point of view. In conclusion, the detailed analysis of the most suburbanized settlement will be performed.
