Industrial Tester for Photometric Values of LED diodes Used in Automotive Signal Lighting

Calibration of Digital Camera to Luminance Measurement
Volek, Martin ; Závada, Petr (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the calibration of a digital camera for a purpose of luminance measurement. The aim is to create calibration approximation functions allowing the calculation of luminance. The first part analyses the basic light-technical parameters, as well as the principle of luminance measurement and the features of digital cameras for this purpose. An important issue, introduced in the present thesis, is to adapt a digital camera as a luminance meter. Furthermore, there is a description of the preparation of a site for the calibration, including necessary devices. The last part is dedicated to define the acquired calibration functions for the respective light sources and their mutual comparison.
Controllable power supply for LED lighting
Morávek, Petr ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the description of artificial light sources, that use light-emitting diodes for their operation. Further down, the parameters of LEDs and their emissions are detailed. The work follows with the characterization of principles of LED power regulation. In the practical section, an example of one of the possible LED light source topologies, is designed. The offered solution includes the options to manually and automatically regulate the chromaticity of emitted light. Functionality of the solution was verified experimentally.
Control and monitoring of parameters in microfluidic systems
Meloun, Jan ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
This thesis discusses the construction of Microfluidic systems for a microscope. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with cell and its survival in the environment. Furthermore, light, light’s behavior and optical spectral analysis in some methods is discussed. Also, the use of the development platform Arduino with wireless data transfer for data visualization is mentioned. Methods for measuring pH are mentioned as well. The practical part is dedicated to the construction of the Microfluidic system with the use of Arduino, smart mobile devices and a developed mobile application including controlling liquid flow with the measured data visualization.
Biosensor of halogenated substances as device using fluorescence method
Sedláček, Jiří ; Prokop,, Zbyněk (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
This master thesis deals with design and construction of device for optic biosensor. The device are using for detected halogen compound in the water. For excitation testing sample is used LED diode about wave length 590 nm. Photocounter is used for detection of the emitted light after fluorescence Such as fluorescent marker are 5(6)-carboxynaphthofluorescein. The thesis is divided into three head parts. The first part includes the theory needed for realization; the second part takes in detail description of the construction and function of the device and the last part describes measurements with the device.
Design of microscope LED illumination system
Gricová, Monika ; Dostál, Zbyněk (referee) ; Antoš, Martin (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor thesis was to design illumination assemblage in confocal microscope Confocal 2002. First part of this paper describes types and components of confocal microscopes. For correct function of the microscope, high-power illumination by a white light emmiter is required. Based on the analysis of the background research, suitable LED diode was selected. In experimental part of this work, eight optical systems are proposed, that has been assembled and evaluated. Based on the evaluation of obtained paramteres, the optimal assemblage was selected and designed for production.

This bachelor thesis also includes a search of the use of LEDs, construction design my proposal, computer simulation of stair lighting and technical documentation.
Design of stabilized optical source
Novák, Michal ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim was to design a stabilized optical light source operating at a wavelength of 1 625nm, suitable for measuring the attenuation of optical fiber transmission method. Source should be stabilized by optical feedback and output should be washed 0dB, 5 db and 10 db. There have been described in various peripheral components such as LEDs and laser diodes, the method of dividing the optical signal and its measurement of a PIN photodiode and avalanche photodiode. Furthermore, optical attenuator, which in this design has played an important role. With it's optical power is stabilized. They were also briefly described three basic methods of measuring attenuation of optical lines. Proposal for construction has been described switched power supply that provides voltage and current surge into the laser diode and the voltage stabilizer is used to power optical attenuator. The work also solved the optical attenuator control voltage output current from the photodiode.
