Design and simulation of manufacturing systems using simulation software for advanced planning and scheduling

The Bachelor’s thesis deals with problematics of discrete-event simulation of production systems and clarification of basic concepts related to simulation, system, model and modelling using software for creating simulation models. The aim is to create simulation model of production line for paper boxes and to find the optimal solution that would meet the requirements for increase in productivity, eliminating downtime for individual machines while maintaining minimum production costs. The creation of the production system is solved in the simulation software Tecnomatix Plant Simulation 14. Furthermore, several solutions were designed and evaluated, from which the optimal solution with the lowest costs was selected.

Motivation System of the Company

The master’s thesis deals with the system of motivation, remuneration and evaluation of employees in the communication center of the company Generali Česká pojišťovna, a. s. Part of this thesis is to focus on the current situation of the motivation system and employee benefits, and this state is further analysed using a questionnaire survey and interview. In the last part of the thesis, based on the results, solutions that would improve the current situation of the motivation system are proposed.

Diploma thesis analyses the current state of motivation system and remuneration of employees at the company. Then, by using theoretical foundations and empirical observation, changes in the current system or new incentive elements to existing ones are being proposed

This diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Main goal is to set a right internal communication for chosen company. The current situation is analysed and evaluated. Results from the theoretical and practical part are put forward for proposals of internal communication. These proposals should decrease a fluctuation of employees, raise motivation of employees and influence working atmosphere positively. Final diploma thesis will be given to researched company.

This diploma thesis deals with motivation and remuneration of employees. Theoretical part is focused on explanation of the terms in this issue. Practical part is focused on specific company Globus ČR, v.o.s. In the next part of diploma thesis processed a level of research of motivation of system of remuneration which will be made by a questionnaire survey and by semistructured interview. Based on those methods will be created suggestions which will help to set motivation plan and improve system of evaluation of employees in company Globus ČR, v.o.s.

Corporate Culture of the Job Agency and Proposals for Its Improvement

The diploma thesis deals with the corporate culture of a selected job agency and its values. The theoretical part is based on the studied literature to explain the issue of agency employment, human resources and corporate culture as a factor that affects the efficiency and performance of the organization. The practical part analyzes the responses of the company's core employees from conducted semi-structured interviews. This feedback about the corporate culture and its perception by the employees themselves compared to management's expectations provides suggestions for improving the in-house climate and thus increasing labor productivity.

Employee Turnover and Retention in a Selected Company

The diploma thesis is focused on employee turnover and retention in a selected company. The theoretical part defines terms that are related to this issue. This part focuses on the causes and consequences of employee turnover, on people resourcing and retention of current employees. This theoretical knowledge is used in the analytical part during analyzing and evaluating the current state of the company. Based on the findings, recommendations that would support effective recruitment and selection process of suitable employees, support retention and reduce employee turnover in the company are provided.
