Company Performance Measurement

This master thesis deals with the financial and business performance ratings of the company Exvalos, spol. s r.o. in years 2010 - 2015. Main methods used, are benchmarking, comparison of analyzed company with its closest competitors and the use of methods of financial indicators. Suggested recommendations are based on the results of conducted analysis which will be used to enhance the financial performance of the company.

Synthesis of Alkaloid-like Compounds with Quaternary Carbon Centers

Synthesis inspired by natural products has a long tradition in drug development. Because the structure of bioactive natural compounds is often very complex, preparation of their derivatives requires the development of specific synthetic procedures. This thesis focuses on derivatives of certain alkaloids from the Amaryllidaceae plant family as examples of such compounds. The thesis explores the possibilities of preparing polycyclic compounds that contain the structural motif present in tazettine, crinine, or mesembrine-type alkaloids. This motif includes a quaternary all-carbon center, for which a method involving a tandem cyclization/Suzuki coupling reaction and a halocarbocyclization was developed and optimized in this work. The scope of these reactions was studied, and variously substituted products containing oxygen and nitrogen cycles were prepared. Furthermore, methods for the synthesis of N-alkylated derivatives, dehydrohalogenation to form a double bond, or various mainly oxidative modifications of the cycle adjacent to the aromatic ring were developed. After developing a method for the preparation of enantiomerically enriched starting material, an asymmetric version of the entire synthesis was successfully performed. Differences between the beginning and experienced teachers of Physical Education in a lesson preparation and motivation of students on the second stage of elementary schools and lower grades of high schools

Title: Differences between the beginning and experienced teachers of Physical Education in a lesson preparation and motivation of students on the second stage of elementary schools and lower grades of high schools. Aims: The main aim of diploma thesis is to compare and describe differences between beginning and experienced teachers of Physical Education in the Czech Republic in the field of lesson preparation and student motivation. We were interested if there are any significant discrepancies or similarities between selected concepts. Methods: Data of the practical part were assembled by the method of empirical quantitative research in a form of a self-made questionnaire in which took part the teachers of Physical Education who teach on the second stage of elementary schools and lower grades of high schools in the Czech Republic. A condition for filling in was the length of pedagogical practice under five years or upon twenty years. 25 % of elementary schools and 25 % of high schools from each region were randomly asked. In total, 772 schools were addressed, we gathered 271 answers from respondents. Acquired data were elaborated and evaluated in the MS Excel programme. Emotional reactions of young people to school physical education

Title: Emotional reactions of young people to school physical education Objectives: The main objective of this work is to determine and compare the emotional reactions of pupils during the sport lessons on secondary schools. We focus on the seventh and eighth graders, boys and girls at the age from twelve to fourteen. The goal is to statistically process and compare the results between the genders and between schools in urban and rural areas. Determine the reliability and internal consistency of the items from the individual factors in the selected DEMOR questionnaire. Evaluate the determined data in synoptic tables and graphs. Methods: The method of questioning was used in this work. To meet the objectives we analysed the responses obtained from the DEMOR questionnaire. Through this survey, it is possible to record the emotional reactions of the pupils and their perceptions of experiences they had to get information about the climate during physical education lessons. The survey was conducted on twelve secondary schools in rural and urban areas in the Karlovy Vary region. Results: The results indicate that, positive feelings prevail in current physical education classes. Legal aspects of the implementation of project "Creative Commons" in the Czech Republic

103 Resumé / English summary Title of the thesis: Legal aspects of implementing Creative Commons project in the Czech Republic Summary: The main topics of this master thesis are Creative Commons public licenses and legal questions arising in connection with their porting to the Czech legal system, i.e. creating Czech versions of these licenses that mirror the spirit of the original licenses while reflecting the particularities of Czech copyright and Czech law in general. Since public licenses are not yet an established concept in the Czech Republic, the first part of this paper (Chapter 2) introduces several public licenses (presented license) to create a sufficient background. Beside the main goals and features of the Creative Commons (CC) license system, GNU General Public License (GPL), GNU Free Documentation License (FDL) and Creative Archive License (CA) are presented in a similar way and a comparison of these licenses follows on the level of license elements, i.e. the main characteristics that determine the scope of the individual licenses. The aim of Chapter 3 is to produce a legal definition of public licenses. Attitudes and opinions of the adolescents at the age of 15 - 18 to the sport and movement activities

Title: Attitudes and opinions of the adolescents at the age of 15 - 18 to the sport and movement activities Objectives: The establishment and comparaison of the opinions and attitudes to movement activities and sport in teenagers was the main objective of this thesis. PASA questionnaire focused on15 - 18 years old secondary schools students was applied. Methods: A method of the written interviewing using PASA questionnaire was used. This questionnaire was widespread some 15 years ago, yet we made a pre- testing sample and some questions were modified. By means of the PASA questionnaire we asked about opinions and attitudes of the adolescents concerning the movement acitivities and sport in light of the psycho-social, real movement and sport activities, of the exploitation of the available physical education and sport facilities etc. The research was effected at selected secondary schools in the Czech Republic. Results: The obtained data were statistically processed and the results are presented in the aggregate tables stating the statistically significant differencies between sex, age groups. Organizational forms of leisure time activities of children in Ostrov

Title: Organized Forms of Pupils` Leisure Time Physical Activities at the second grade of Primary School in Ostrov. Objectives: The aim of this Master`s Thesis is to survey the organization which offers physical activities to the students in Ostrov and their range of sports clubs. Using questionnaires, I want to find out how much students in Ostrov (6th and 9th class of elementary school) are interested in sports offered by different organizations. Methods: This master`s thesis have an empirical character. The qualitative research is used according to the surveying in Ostrov's sports organizations. There is the quantitative method connected with the questionnaires and research questions. Results: The city of Ostrov offers a variety of organized physical activities for 2nd grade students of Primary School. The biggest one has the Town house of children and youth. The interest from the side of children is not that big, students are more interested in unorganized sport. The most visited activities are: soccer for boys and volleyball for girls. Analysis of Physical Fitness of the Police of the Czech Republic

Title:Analysis of Physical Fitness of the Police of the Czech Republic Objectives:The main objective of this theses is to help find a solution of selected motoric ability among adults, particullary cadets, who study at the programm of Basic Professional Training at the Ministery of the Interior's school in Prague. Methods:To collect results of selected motoric abilities we used motoric test according to the UNIFITTEST 6 - 60. We used questionaires to collect basic data and data about physical and mental stress indicators. Results:We found out that performance of the Czech policemen is sometimes below average when compared with the general standards and that received data doesn't meet our expectation. View and Attitudes to Sport and Physical Activities in Secundary School's Teachers Lifestyle

Name: View and attitudes to sport and physical activities in secondary school's teachers lifestyle The aim of this thesis was to investigate the point of views and attitude of high school teachers in sport and physical activities in their lifestyle. The study ran over the republic using a questionnaire method. In general, the research was focused on a comparison of opinions and attitude of teachers in four age categories (18 - 30 years, 31 - 45 years, 46 - 60 years, 61 years and older), further, according to gender and teaching qualification and non teaching qualification in physical education. Overall, 999 teachers were responded. In most cases, the results confirmed our working hypothesis. Generally, most of the teachers have positive opinions and attitudes to sport and physical activities in their lifestyle. Keywords: sport, physical activities, lifestyle
