Competencies of a lecturer in pedagogy of experience

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize the most important competencies of a lecturer, who uses methods of experience pedagogy. The word "competency" means required abilities, knowledge and personal characteristics as well as different tasks and related authority of a lecturer. One part of the thesis deals with competencies of lecturers of social-psychological trainings. That is because these trainings are focused on social competencies which are essential for lecturers in experience pedagogy. The last chapter focuses on evaluation of lecturers. Specifically I describe a system of evaluation in an NGO called "Jules a Jim", mainly the process of creation of a competency model of a lecturer using methods of experiential learning. On the basis of the results of the evaluation I would like to propose recommendations on training lecturers at Jules a Jim.
Multidisciplinary Approach to Rehabilitation of a Family

The theoretical part of this diploma thesis aims to summarize the basic information about rehabilitation of a family as a relatively new phenomena in Czech social work with families. Firstly I describe according to a disposable literature functions of a family, its importance to a child as well as the most common problems a family can face. Than I place rehabilitation of a family as an approach into the Czech system of care of vulnerable children and describe disadvantages of the current system. Lastly I decribe the characteristics of rehabilitation of a family as a multidisciplinary approach to family social work. The empirical part of this thesis is based on semi-structured interwievs with profesionals in the field of rehabilitation of a family as well as clients of family rehabilitation services. It aims to find out how can we use educational activities when working with families in danger of social failure. Educational Needs of Foster Parents

This master thesis deals with educational needs of foster parents. The main assumption of this thesis is that foster parents are despite all specifics among all parents. Therefore it firstly mentions competences, that are essential for good parenthood and relationship between parents as partners. Than it focuses on specific competences that are essential for foster parents. The main question then is how to encourage these competences during educational activities. In the next part this thesis describes the current state of education of foster parents, examples of good practice and present researches. The empirical part of the thesis consists of a qualitative research, which aims to describe the educational needs of foster parents, current deficiencies and suggestions on what to improve. The research is based on semi-structured interviews with foster parents and professionals in the field of alternative family care.
