Real Time Melfa Controlling Using ROS
Liška, Jakub ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to explore the possibilities of controlling the industrial robotic arm Mitsubishi Melfa RV-6SL using ROS (Robot Operating System) and the subsequent implementation of this knowledge into a functional application. This work describes to the reader not only the theoretical foundations of the work, but also how to create the configuration packages needed to simulate the robotic arm in the simulation environment Gazebo, as well as real-time control of the real robotic arm. The text also describes path planning using the MoveIt library, based on poses of robotic arm selected in the Rviz visualization environment.
Garbage Collector for PNtalk Objects
Mišák, Ján ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the designing of a garbage collector for the PNtalk virtual machine. It describes and rates the approaches and algorithms for an automatic memory management. Four algorithm families ale presented: mark-sweep, mark-compact, copying algorithms and reference counting. At first it describes sequential forms, that pauses running of the main program (mutator), then it describes parallel and concurent forms, that do not pauses the mutator. The thesis also presents generational model of garbage collecting. The following sections briefly introduces object orientated Petri nets. The result of this thesis is the design of the generational garbage collector for the PNtalk virtual machine.
Simulation-Based Development of Heating Control System
Tomeček, Jan ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis is about optimalization of boiler heating from external sources. I have created a simulation model of Heating Control System. Subsequently, using a simulation model, I proposed possible optimizations for water heating control. The used optimization method was deep Q-learning. The result of this work shows the use of simulation for the development and optimalization of control systems.
Model Based Design of Software Systems
Hanák, Tomáš ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with modern approach in creating software systems that is named Model-Driven Software Development. This metodology eliminates a lot of critical problems that can appear in conventional metodologies of creating software systems. Main idea of this approach is based on posibility to generate final code from conceptual models that can be done automatically or semi-automatically.
Comparison of Methods for Travelling Salesman Problem
Šušová, Lucia ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work is about comparison of methods for solving the traveling salesman problem. There are many algorithms for finding solution of this NP complete problem but it is not easy to choose the right one. Main goal of this thesis is experimental methods comparison between each other. Reader is going to learn what result she can expect if she chooses certain algorithm for finding the path. First part is focused on theoretical basics where is described all needed information for understanding the problem. Second part describes single heuristics and methods for solving these problems. The methods are divided into groups by principle of working. Next part contains experimental comparison of methods. This comparison was done based on own implementation of single heuristics. The following part of this work contains information about this implementation and also describes comparison application. Next possible steps of this project are described in conclusion.
USB Host with PIC Microcontrollers
Kučera, Pavel ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
The aim of master thesis is implementation of USB host in a microcontroller PIC. The thesis contains description of ways of peripherals to computer connections with detailed description of USB bus. There are also discussed several approaches in implementations USB host for embedded systems. A concept of layered USB host system is designed on the basis of analysis of the state of the art. Finally, the designed system is implemented in microcontroller. Resulting firmware of development kit is tested on real USB device.
Design and Implementation of Smart Home Using Raspberry Pi and Wireless Elements Based on SoC Espressif
Jakuba, Jakub ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
The work is interested in the design and implementation of control systems for Smart Home. It tries to show what the possibilities that exist today, and that making a smart home is no longer a complicated and expensive thing. So it does not have to be made only by an expert in the field, but it can be attempted by a person who has the desire to learn something new and upgrade their home to "Smart" for a relatively small price. Devices and programs applicable to the implementation of a smart home are described here.
Map Making Using Particle Filters and Laser Scanner
Izrael, Petr ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis describes basics of automatic map making based on odometry and laser range data of a robot. This task is also known as Simultaneous Localization and Mapping. Approach described in this thesis uses particle filters for creating planar grid-based maps. Final chapters are concerned with own implementation and some basic experiments.
Web Browser for Squeak Smalltalk
Šlemr, Martin ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This Master's thesis is about web browser Scamper in Squeak Smalltalk system environment, it's actual progress, new design and implementation, which respect CSS box model and visual formatting model including tables. Also describe web browsers generally and Internet technologies such HTTP protocol, or structure MIME. Next part of this document is describing Squeak Smalltalk system and it's graphic environment Morphic.
GNOME Keyring Storage in FreeIPA
Židek, Michal ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This master's thesis gives introduction to FreeIPA project and GNOME Keyring project. It discusses benefits of possible integration of GNOME Keyring into FreeIPA using FreeIPA's component called Password Vault. Designs of possible implementations are provided. Prototype of one of these designs is implemented.
