Disertační práce se zabývá tématem druhého života nejznámějšího Komenského českého spisu Labyrint světa a ráj srdce a konstitucí jeho místa v dějinách idejí. V šesti hlavních historických etapách rozložených do čtyř staletí od sepsání rukopisu (1623) až do současnosti (2023) zkoumá recepci díla v rovině kulturně-společenské a badatelské, sleduje jejich vzájemnou interakci a popisuje posuny v interpretaci díla v souvislosti s měnícími se dobovými paradigmaty. Z pramenného materiálu analyzuje především širokou paletu různých edic a překladů díla, zmínek, komentářů a odborných publikací o díle a objekty umělecké povahy, na jejichž základě se snaží rekonstruovat dobové obrazy díla, které symbolicky i fakticky doprovázelo českou společnost při jejích dějinných proměnách. Práce obsahuje dosud nejúplnější soupis českých vydání a překladů Labyrintu a související sekundární literatury. Byla sepsána ke 400. výročí sepsání rukopisu díla. The dissertation thesis deals with the topic of the "afterlife" of Comenius's most notable Czech work, The Labyrinth of the World and the Paradise of the Heart, and the constitution of its position in the history of ideas. In six main historical periods, spreading over four centuries from the writing of the manuscript (1623) to the present day (2023), it examines the reception of the work in cultural-social and scholarly realms, traces their interaction and describes shifts in the interpretation of the work in relation to changing paradigms of the day. From the source material, it analyses primarily a wide range of various editions and translations of the work, mentions, commentaries and scholarly publications on the work and objects of artistic nature, based on which it aims at reconstructing various historical images of the work, which symbolically and factually accompanied the Czech society in its historical transformations. The work contains the most complete list of Czech editions and translations of the work and relevant secondary literature to date. It was written on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the work.
