Práce se zabývá srovnáním jazykové výuky ve Finsku a České republice. Východiskem jsou historické souvislosti,školskýsystém vobou zemích,vzdělávací reformya strategie vzdělávací politiky. Následuje charakteristika jazykového vzdělávání, metod a forem práce, vyučujících jazyků.Práce využívá osobní zkušenosti s výukou vobou zemích,charakteristikou jednotlivých škol a rozborem hodin výukyanglického jazyka.
