Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem klimatické diplomacie v česko-německých vztazích po roce 1990. Teoretická část se nejprve soustředí na představení novodobého fenoménu klimatická diplomacie, který je stejně jako jiné typy diplomacie nepostradatelný pro udržení stability mezinárodních vztahů. Práce dále zjišťuje, kdy se po roce 1990 environmentální problematika dostávala více do popředí česko-německého dialogu také na národní úrovni. Důraz je kladen na rok 2004, kterým Česká republika oficiálně přistoupila do Evropské unie. Je zkoumáno, jak tato událost proměnila bilaterální spolupráci v oblasti ochrany klimatu a životního prostředí. Paralelně probíhá analýza českého a německého environmentálního smýšlení, které je zvlášť stěžejní pro pochopení utváření česko-německé klimatické diplomacie. V rámci praktické části byl vybrán jeden konkrétní evropský projekt Young Energy Europe od Evropské iniciativy na ochranu klimatu, který se zaměřuje na energetickou udržitelnost a environmentální vzdělávání ve firmách. Součástí tohoto projektu je jak Německo, tak Česká republika. Hlavním cílem je zhodnotit účast České republiky a zjistit, jaké limity mohou představovat mitigační projekty tohoto druhu pro země bývalého východního bloku. The bachelor thesis deals with the development of climate diplomacy in Czech-German relations after 1990. The first chapter of theoretical part focuses on the introduction of the modern phenomenon of climate diplomacy. Climate diplomacy is as other types of diplomacy indispensable for maintaining the stability of international relations. The work analyses, when environmental issues came to the forefront of the Czech-German dialogue also at the national level after 1990. Furthermore, the turning point is the year 2004, when the Czech Republic officially joins the European Union. It examines how this event has transformed bilateral cooperation in the field of climate and environmental protection. At the same time, Czech and German environmental thinking is analysed due to understanding the formation of Czech- German climate diplomacy. In the practical part, there is introduced one specific European project - Young Energy Europe as a project of the European Climate Protection Initiative. Young Energy Europe focuses on energy sustainability and environmental education in companies. It includes both Germany and the Czech Republic.
