Účelem této semestrální práce je překlad česky psaného textu týkajícího se nejnovějšího vývoje v letecké dopravě do jazyka anglického a analýza rozdílů mezi oběma jazyky, jež se vyskytují v překladu. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí: teoretický úvod, překlad textu a analýza překladu. Teoretický úvod se zabývá typy překladu. V závěrečné části jsou na příkladech z přeložených textů analyzovány jazykové jevy a charakteristické rysy anglického a českého jazyka The purpose of the semestral thesis is to translate a text or more texts related to new trends in air transportation as presented in media from Czech into English and analyze the differences between both languages in translation. The work presented is divided into three main parts: theoretical introduction, translation of the technical text and translation analysis. The theoretical introduction deals with the types of translation and classifications. In the last part, the language phenomena and characteristic features of the English and Czech languages are analyzed on the examples of the translated texts.
