Práce se zabývá tématem psychohygieny lektora dalšího vzdělávání při výkonu povolání. Psychohygienou je chápán soubor preventivních opatření, která vedou k dobré psychické kondici. Její nepříznivý stav vede k nekvalitnímu výkonu a pracovní demotivaci. Cílem práce je identifikace potenciálních škodlivých aspektů doprovázejících lektora dalšího vzdělávání při výkonu jeho profese z pohledu duševního zdraví a dále preventivních opatření používaných lektory. Nejprve bude vymezena konceptualizace psychohygieny, její historický vývoj, zkoumání psychohygieny, prostředky a cíle psychohygieny. Následující kapitola se věnuje charakteristikám pomáhajících profesí a psychické zátěži s nimi spjaté. Následuje vymezení profese lektora dalšího vzdělávání a významu zkoumání psychohygieny lektora dalšího vzdělávání v souvislosti se specifiky toho povolání, ale také jemu podobnými povoláními pedagoga a pracovníků v pomáhajících profesích. Dále bude práce pomocí kvalitativního šetření identifikovat faktory negativně ovlivňující psychickou kondici lektorů dalšího vzdělávání a praktická opatření v rámci osobní psychohygieny lektorů. Mental hygiene is established as a set of preventive methods that lead to a well- balanced mental state. Poor mental hygiene is linked to low-quality performance and demotivation. The aim of the thesis is to identify negative aspects of the lecturer's work regarding mental health as well as the mental health prevention methods used by practising lecturers. The first chapter explains a meaning of mental hygiene, describes a brief history of its development and its aims and methods. The following chapter is dedicated to the characteristics of helping professions and specific psychological stressors associated with them. The last theoretical chapter contains a theoretical background describing specific aspects of the lecturer's work. Last part of the thesis is a qualitative investigation that identifies negative factors affecting the mental health of practising lecturers and maps practical methods lectors used as a mental hygiene.
