Práce se zabývá percepční citlivostí na jemné frekvenční a temporální manipulace v ře- čových, hudebních a smíšených stimulech. Vychází z předpokladu, že by citlivost jedince na variace ve všech třech typech stimulů měla být podobná (tj. měla by zde existovat korelace), neboť zjištění z oblasti evoluční biologie, neurověd, psychologie i experimentál- ní fonetiky ukazují na poměrně výrazné propojení mechanismů percepce v řeči a hudbě. Metodou poslechového testu se podařilo odhalit převážně středně silné korelace, přičemž usuzujeme, že za použití syntakticky méně složitých stimulů řečových i hudebních, které by kladly větší důraz na základní citlivost a nevyžadovaly, aby byla současně provede- na komplexnější syntaktická analýza stimulu, by bylo možné zjistit korelaci robustnější. Vliv předchozího lingvistického vzdělání na výkon v testu byl zanedbatelný, zato vliv hu- dební praxe poměrně značný, a to zejména v hudební a smíšené části. I to hovoří pro zjednodušení zejména hudebních stimulů v budoucím výzkumu. Klíčová slova: hudba, řeč, percepce, citlivost, korelace The subject of this thesis is perceptual sensitivity with respect to subtle frequency-based and temporal manipulations in speech, music and mixed stimuli. We hypothesize that an individual's sensitivity to variation in all three types of stimuli should be similar (i.e. a correlation should exist), seeing that findings in evolutionary biology, neurosciences, psy- chology and experimental phonetics are pointing towards a relatively strong link between the mechanisms of perception in speech and music. Our listening experiment revealed mostly intermediate correlations; additionally, we argue that by employing syntactically less complicated stimuli, which would target specifically fundamental sensitivity without requiring a complex syntactic analysis in parallel, even more robust correlations could be obtained. While the influence of prior formal linguistic education on performance in the test was negligible, the influence of musical experience was considerable, which lends further support to the idea of simplifying especially the music stimuli in future research.
