[cze][eng] Tématem této práce je vztah učitelů češtiny ke spisovnému jazyku. Zvolila jsem si je po přečteni článku Fr. Čermáka, P.Sgalla a P. Vybírala s názvem Od školské spisovnosti ke standardní češtině (Čermák - Sgall - Vybiral 2005). Autoři se v něm kromě jiného snažili nastolit otázku, zda by se jazykovědci a vůbec lidé zabývajici se češtinou a jejim vyučováním ve školách, neměli hlouběji zamyslet nad tim, proč vlastně máme v naši mateřštině útvar, kterému se řiká spisovná čeština. Tento článek se mi dostal do rukou na sociolingvistickém semináři a přinutil mě k zamyšleni nad příspěvkem k tématu spisovnost a následně k uvažováni nad tim, jak se vlastně spisovnost uplatňuje v praxi na základních a středních školách.Czech Teachers Attitudes to the Formal Language This diploma thesis deals with the attitudes of the Czech teachers to the formal Czech language in several ways. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first one is the theoretical part and the second the practical one. In the first part, the author tries to define the problems that could appear when thinking about the basic question, which is inserted into the title. This theoretical part consists of many different approaches that can be traced in the Czech linguistics and that is the reason, why many Czech linguists are cited and their works has been used to discuss the topic from several points of view. The author tried to define the literary aspects of the Czech language, standardization of the language, its oral and written forms. It was also necessary to have a look at the ordinary situation of teaching Czech at schools and to define the attitudes of the teachers of Czech to one aspect of the subject they teach (to the formal language). This is mainly contained in chapter six. Chapter five includes an article called The Profile of a (Typical) Czech Teacher by Vladimir Smilauer (Liberec, 1969) and compares it to the current situation at the schools in the Czech Republic.
