Projekt se zabývá identifikací poddruhu rysa ostrovida v evropských zoologických zahradách pomocí analýzy sekvencí mitochondrialní DNA a délkového polymorfismu jaderných mikrosatelitů za účelem udržení čistokrevných populací pro chovné programy. The project deals with identification of suspecies of the Eurasian lynx in European ZOOs using analysis of sequences of mitochondrial DNA and length polymorphism of nuclear microsatellites in order to keeping purebred populations for breeding programs.
