Material management of order production

The thesis is focused on the mapping and subsequent improvement of processes within the Procurement and Logistics department for the monitored company division. Based on the findings from the analytical part and the identification of problematical areas, there are proposed steps that should lead to improvement of performance not only within the Procurement and Logistics department, but also within the division as a whole. The emphasis was put on eliminating of processes that were bringing no value as well as on material flow management.

Proposal for a change in the production line

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the proposal for a change in the production line to achieve efficient utilization of the resulting material waste. The work pertains to a company specializing in the production of plastic products – CECHO BUHUMIL CEMPÍREK, s.r.o. The theoretical part defines and describes the basic concepts related to the process and its possible analyses. These are used in the analytical part for a comprehensive mapping of the production process, which focuses primarily on the analysis of material, financial, and process flow. Based on these analyses, a proposal for a change in the production line is made, including the required machines, a description of the newly created processes, and analyses describing the new line. In conclusion, the overall benefits of this proposal and its financial feasibility are evaluated.

Proposal of Accompanying Service Concept from the Project Point of View

The bachelor's thesis focuses on accompanying services at the Integrated Packaging and Solutions (eHouse) division of ABB s.r.o. The work consists of three main parts. The first part contains theoretical knowledge from the issue of marketing, accompanying services and project management. The following part deals with the analysis of the current state of marketing mix and the definition of key requirements and conditions, based on which the proposal of a new accompanying service is presented in the last part, which would help to increase the competitiveness of ABB products.

Variants of the production portfolio

This thesis deals with the variations of the product portfolio of the selected company. The subject of the thesis is the identification of products that are key for the company and their transition y external production to in-house production. Subsequently, a proposal is created that describes the essentials associated with the expansion of production. The proposal also includes a description of the individual processes that would be created by the new work tasks. The focus is primarily on verifying the feasibility and increasing the competitiveness of the company. The changes proposed in this thesis are related to the new organizational structure, the creation of new job roles, capacity calculations and investment requirements of the project.

Design Process Management of the Order in the Selected Organization

This thesis focuses on the analysis of process management of a contract in a selected organization. The aim of the thesis is to reveal the shortcomings and weaknesses in the process of order execution from the customer's enquiry to the actual handover of the order to the client and thus to propose improvements to the existing management. The practical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the current situation and the weaknesses are analyzed using the FMEA method, which serves as a basis for proposing solutions. The proposed measures focus on the development of work procedures and satisfaction questionnaire, the employment of a new employee, the introduction of a time schedule and the use of the Trello tool for job scheduling. These steps should lead to meeting delivery deadlines and increasing customer satisfaction.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of Process Management in the field of prototype production. In the theoretical part, the literary research on the given issue is processed. The practical part analyzes the current state of process management of certain production processes in the Formula Student university project, specifically in the TU Brno Racing team. Based on the recognition of the current state, measures leading to creation of process management in this project and possible involvement of other methods.

Business processes in project management

The bachelor thesis focuses on project management processes in the engineering company Bosch Rexroth. Specifically, the thesis deals with the analysis of the process of a selected order in the company and the subsequent comparison with the internal company directive that defines the process engineering of the product. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the theoretical background of the thesis. The second part is analytical, containing data on the standardized process of the order according to the directive and the real process of the selected order in the company. These data were obtained through non-standardized observation, semi-structured interviews with the project manager, supplemented by data from the information system and internal company documents. The final section is propositional and contains suggestions for improvement at the level of sub-business processes.

In the first part, the theoretical starting points are evaluated, on the basis of which a thorough analysis of the current state of the company is created. Based on the analysis, there are proposed solutions, which are described in the last part together with the conditions of implementation and the benefits for the company.

The Process Management in Selected Company

The diploma thesis focuses on development of process management and optimization of processes in selected company and department. In the thesis the advantages and disadvantages of process management, monitoring and reporting of processes, reengineering etc. are described. The aim of this thesis is to characterize and evaluate selected processes in company and propose possible improvements. The aim have been met by optimalization of selected process map in energy company using the suggestion of costs and amount of savings. The activities of the process which are done manually were automated by using the new IT system which has it's central database with all data. These data could be used in automatic tool PBI. Therefore, all manual activities are eliminated. Due to that an analysed department found out a lof of cost savings. Thanks to these savings the optimized process was recommended for use.

Process Management in the Selected Agricultural Company

This bachelor´s thesis deals with business management processes in an agricultural company. The thesis proposes changes how to improve the processes in the given agricultural company which is forced to evaluate the quality of its process management due to external and internal threats, competition and introduction of modern technologies. The thesis looks for possible solutions and models the processes using software tools, such as the graphical notation Business Process Model and Notation. To get an overall picture of the company the strategic planning and strategic management technique is used. Furthermore, the processes are prioritised and their performance and efficiency are then analysed. By process mapping the flow of work is described and thus the management is defined, introduction of automation is determined and waste and unproductive activities are eliminated. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to suggest to the managers possible changes for effective management of the company.
