Attitudes of Czech Political Parties on Crypto Assets

The Czech Republic is going to approve the European-wide MiCA regulation, that regulates crypto assets in all member states of the European Union. So far, Czech political parties have not expressed their opinion toward crypto assets, even though there are many successful active companies within this sector in the Czech Republic. The main goal of this thesis is to find out the views of Czech political parties on the regulation of crypto assets and the MiCA. In order to achieve this goal, there were several in-depth interviews carried out with politicians and representatives of companies that do business in the crypto sector. Additionally, publicly available sources shared by the political subjects were examined. According to the gathered information, there is no political party, that addresses the topic of crypto assets thoroughly. However, there are individual politicians from parties ODS, TOP 09, ANO 2011, and Piráti, who devote their time to the topic of crypto assets, and they are aware of the main issues within the current solution. It is a question, whether they will find political support within their political parties to improve the local conditions and smooth implementation of MiCA regulation.

Talk show Uvolněte se, prosím and its political guests (qualitative and quantitative analysis of politicians' attendance in the show)

Diploma thesis "Talk show Uvolněte se, prosím and its political guests (qualitative and quantitative analysis of politicians' attendance in the show)" deals with the topic of convergence of entertainment and politics, hence politics and the media as such. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the wider context of the issue - presentation of the politicians on television, interconnection of politics and humor, and the role of talk shows in political communication. The theoretical part presents the issue of political celebrities as one of the factors that affect communication between the politicians and the citizens. The practical part deals with the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the political guests' performance in the czech version of American talk shows Uvolněte se, prosím.

Diploma thesis: Media Training - The Rhetoric for Practice Tereza Ouahdjinová Abstract English The subject of this diploma thesis is the concept of media training in current practice, with a focus on individuals who, in their interactions with the media, not only represent the face of corporate, political and other organizations but also use the media to reach the general public. Due to the media attention that is attracted by these representatives, it is crucial that they know how to comport themselves in front of the media and how to utilize it to efficiently effect the target audiences. For this reason, media training focuses on the different forms of an individual's presentation, with the main focus being on speech. The thesis makes use of the foundations of rhetoric as a theoretical background for perceiving media training, specifically in regard to the ability to speak compellingly, correctly, and with consideration so as to influence the audience. Knowledge of rhetoric is key to making convincing arguments and giving prompt responses, and is a skill that can be developed, practiced and perfected over time. Media training interlinks this knowledge with the principles and processes of how the media function and teaches how to formulate messages and what to do and do not in interaction with journalists....

The present rigorous thesis is about the personality of František Jan Kroiher (1871-1948). He represented a very engaged person in a public area. His activity was very extensive and intervened in minor works in the country up to the contacts with the highest clerical and political circles. Individual chapters are devoted Kroiher´s childhood and study, career of the priest in the South Bohemia, his taking part in the reform efforts of the Czech clergy, work in a cooperative and economic sphere, a politic career in Agrarian Party and his extensive journalistic activities and sponsorship. At the end there is evaluation of Kroiher´s personality, followed by the list of sources and bibliography, index of names, a list of abbreviations and supplements. The rigorous thesis was based on prospecting quantity of the archival documents, period newspapers and literature.
