Aleje a jejich role v zemědělské krajině - stav a perspektivy

The thesis deals with the issue of tree-lined alleys and rows of trees in agricultural landscapes, which were described in detail in the theoretical section. In the application part, a summary map of 210 potential alleys and 631 potential rows of trees was created in the terri-tory of the Olomouc District outside the built-up area of the city of Olomouc and the Libavá military training area, supplemented by a database of 10 alleys in the Olomouc region and a green passport of the city of Olomouc. The data from the map were evaluated based on the location of the elements in individual municipalities in terms of density, length, and number of elements. Field research was carried out in two locations. In the village of Drahanovice was mapped out total of 11vegetation elements and in the town of Velká Bystřice was mapped out total of 41 vegetation elements. Mapping was subsequently evaluated. New elements were proposed in these areas based on the current and historical landscape structure, focusing on soil blocks with an area of more than 30 ha and more than 10 ha in areas with strongly eroded soils.
Invasive species mapping beyond activities of Nature Conservation Agency

Invasive species are a persistent problem in environmental protection. In order to grasp invasions properly and especially for their effective management, it is necessary to have good information on the occurrence of invasive species. However, mapping activities to date have mostly been narrowly focused, mainly on sites of conservation interest and selected flagship species. Records from these activities are now concentrated in the Nature Conservancy Central Register of the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic. This database is currently the best data source on the occurrence of invasive species in the Czech Republic. Nevertheless, it still does not contain a satisfactory number of records. The largest gaps are in areas outside the interest of nature conservation. Mapping of these areas can be done through citizen science, which is specifically very suitable for mapping invasive species. Another promising but rarely used source of data on the occurrence of invasive species is the grey literature, the potential of which has been explored in this bachelor's thesis. Residents' Perceptions of Gentrification and Related Changes: a Study of Smíchov and Karlín

Gentrification is an urban process gone global with many permutations and local specifics. This master's thesis analyses how residents are perceiving gentrification in rapidly developing, post- industrial, inner-city neighbourhoods of Prague - Smíchov and Karlín. The thesis is based on the concept of gentrification as planetary phenomenon that is anchored in a post-socialist context of contemporary Prague. The integral process of displacement is understood as direct but also symbolic, as an attachment to one's neighbourhood. Perception, an individual's filter of understanding and dealing with the world, is used to capture nuances, experiences, and feelings. Using interviews, the thesis seeks to answer the following questions using the underutilized perceptions of regular citizens. How are residents perceiving gentrification and the related changes? Where are residents placing gentrification? Are these findings the same in Smíchov and Karlín or are there differences in the perceptions? Gentrification and displacement are palpable urban processes that the respondents perceive as having changed the neighbourhoods in an impactful way. Mapping of non-homogeneous samples in combination of LIBS and complementary methods

This thesis focuses on mapping of mostly heterogennous samples using a Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) and other complementary methods. The aim is to examine the relations between the obtained data and their common potential aplication. The samples used were homogeneous aluminum, a concrete sample and a mouse bone. All samples were mapped using the LIBS method and laser-induced plasma imaging. For the homogeneous sample, complementary data were employed to improve the relative deviation of spectral data. In case of the heterogeneous samples, relationships between the obtained data were investigated.
Near-field excited photoluminescence mapping

Tato práce se zabývá mapováním fotoluminiscence (PL) pomocí buzení blízkého pole (NF), které slouží ke zkoumání optoelektronických vlastností v nanometrovém měřítku. Díky překonání omezení tradičních optických technik v dalekém poli zkoumá jevy na menších rozměrech, které by jinak byly nedostupné. Hlavní důraz je kladen na NF rastrovací optickou mikroskopii, která umožňuje pozorování poddifrakčních jevů u studovaných vzorků. Významným přínosem této práce je zavedení časově rozlišitelného mapování PL v NF, tedy průlomové metody pro studium dynamických procesů pod hranicí difrakce. Tento přístup představuje nový přínos pro tento obor, což potvrzuje i přehled literatury uvedený v této práci. Díky pečlivému vyhodnocení a interpretaci měření PL tato práce rozšiřuje naše znalosti o optických vlastnostech olovnatých halogenidových perovskitů a jejich potenciálních aplikacích např. pro solární články. Dále odhaluje dosud neprozkoumané možnosti v oblasti časově rozlišitelného mapování PL v NF a poskytuje dosud nevídaný náhled do dynamických procesů pod difrakčním limitem. Posunutím hranic optického výzkumu na úrovni nanorozměrů vytváří tato diplomová práce základ pro nové směry zkoumání v této oblasti.
Automatic Construction of a Terrain Map by a Drone

The thesis describes a tool for the auto-creation of a map of an area mapped by a drone. The mapping is done by systematically taking aerial images of the Earth’s surface. The acquired images are then processed using the proposed methods discussed in this thesis. The first method is based on positional metadata in each image and the remaining two procedures perform image analysis using computer vision algorithms. These methods are implemented as a Python code utilizing the OpenCV library, Numpy and Exif. During the experiments, the proposed methods were applied to the custom datasets. The input to the tool is the images, which are processed using one of the proposed methods to produce the output map.
Utilising satellite imagery for geological mapping and structural analysis

The use of remote sensing data is becoming very important in Earth sciences. Satellite images are invaluable for studying hardly reachable places on Earth and they can significantly help increase the efficiency of work in areas with existing field data . In arid areas where rocks are exposed and directly visible at the surface, a lithology contacts mapping can be done based on satellite images. An overview of the possibilities of processing multispectral images is included in the theoretical part of this thesis, as well as a description of previously known methods for performing structural analysis based on remote sensing data. As the main part of this thesis, a new method for finding orientations of planar geological structures including a quality control of the input data was developed and described. This method was then applied in the Bodonchin area of the Mongolian Altai where the metamorphic foliation and pegmatite veins were analyzed. The method showed good applicability in the given area despite its limitations which are also discussed in the thesis.
LiDAR-based Indoor Self Localization and Mapping

This thesis introduces the problem of simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) with focus on the use of a 3D LiDAR sensor. Firsly is written an introduction to SLAM itself and explained graph-based SLAM and dense map representation. The two most common point cloud alignment algorithms ICP and NDT are described. Then research of existing projects solving this problem is carried out. Described projects are all open-source and most of them support the ROS system. One of the described projects, Optimized SC-F-LOAM is explained in detail. Thesis describes it's odometry FLOAM and connection between it and graph optimization with loop closure. For loop closure is used descriptor ScanContext. Then it is presented design for implementing choosen project on offline and online datas from indoor. In last chapters is described proces of implementing and tuning project and at the end results of using said project in indoors are presented.
Vyhotovení účelové mapy jako podklad pro projekt pozemkových úprav v katastrálním území Popovice u Přerova

„Creation of a thematical large scale map for a project of land consolidation in the cadastral area of Popovice u Přerova“ The topic of this bachelor's thesis is a geodetic survey and subsequent creation of a thematical large scale map displaying a specific locality in the cadastral area of Popovice u Přerova. The surveying was carried out in collaboration with Agroprojekt Brno s.r.o. The created map will serve as a basic for land consolidation in the northern part of the city. The first, theoretic part of the thesis deals with geodetic measurement procedures, issues related to land consolidation and mapping. The second, practical part describes individual measuring procedures, calculations and graphic processing of the map. The result of this investigation is a printed form thematical large scale map at a scale of 1 : 500 in A0 format. The map is processed in the 3rd accuracy class according to ČSN 01 3410 in the S-JTSK coordinate system and in the Baltic Vertical Datum - after adjustment.
Webová administratíva pre mobilnú aplikácii MyMENDELU

This diploma thesis deals with the design and following implementation of a front-end web administration for the mobile application MyMendelu, focusing on the creation of the application architecture and map module in the form of an interactive map. The individual modules are used to manage the most frequently asked questions, reports and rooms of the buildings and campus of Mendel University. Part of the diploma thesis is the analysis of modern frameworks and tools used for creating web front-ends, as well as the analysis of map libraries for building an interactive map. The functionality of the system is proposed based on this analysis, and the resulting solution using the Vue.js and Leaflet frameworks is based on the specification of the requirements contained in this thesis. The implemented administration presents a clear interface used by university employees to ensure the up-to-dateness of the mobile application data, without the need for the intervention of a programmer.
