Assessment in Biology Education in Trebic, Znojmo and surroundings

Bachelor thesis describes the assessment methods used in teaching natural science at selected schools on Trebic and Znojmo district. The survey among students showed that teachers mostly use the written assessment, during which mainly focus on knowledge of the concepts and definitions. Nearly three quarters of students have experience with formative assessment. Replies teachers from classes, in which the survey was conducted, confirmed these findings from questionnaires for students.

European Schools are educational establishments in some European Union countries, providing the children of employees of the European institutions a multilingual and multicultural education in nursery, primary and secondary levels. Due to the multiculturalism, for the successful functioning and management of the system, it is necessary to find compromises. It is on a similar principle that the new curriculum of Early Education in European schools - Early Education Curriculum is based. The first part of my work is the presentation of the European Schools system (its history, principles, structure, functioning) and of the Early Education Curriculum. The aim of the next section is to compare this Curriculum and the Czech Framework Education Programme for Early Education, seeking for mutual inspiration and ideas in both systems. This is a theoretical and analytical comparison of the documents with a deeper focus on cooperation with parents, transition between nursery and primary school, and evaluation methods. Assessment in Biology Education in Tabor and surroundings

Bachelor thesis is focused on monitoring the assessment methods used in biology lessons in Tabor and surroundings. Data was obtained through a questionnaire survey at secondary schools and grammar school with the emphasis on students' personal opinions and experiences in relation to individual assessment approaches, including experience with formative assessment, which is currently the subject of interest and discussion. This bachelor thesis consists of review devoted characterization methods and types of assessment. The practical part introduces the research results. The results showed that the oral and written examination were the most frequently used assessment instrument in the biology lessons. These instruments were also stated to be the most beneficial method from respondents' point of view. More than half of the respondents at schools in the selected region had experience with the formative assessment. There were no significant differences in using of the formative assessment between selected schools.
Assessment in Biology Education in Prachatice and Surroundings

Bachelor thesis is focused on methods of assessment which are using during biology lessons at secondary schools and grammar school in Prachatice. In this thesis is covered general exploration which devotes methods of assessment and theirs characteristics. There are also results of questionnaire which is bearded on assessment during biology lessons. It was found out that the most using form of assessment is written examination and the least using form is oral examination. Afterwards was found out that there is not significant contrast between pupil who have heard about the term formative assessment and pupil who have never heard the term. Respondents considered formative assessment more motivating than summative assessment.

The aim of graduation theses is evaluation of building and operation of solar power station through the medium of methods which make for assessments of investment as well as entire business plan processing which should be used in application for granting of credit and in application for financial support of Operational program of Enterpreneurship and Innovation.
