Title: Hippotourism Objective: The aim of this thesis is to perform a literature search about relatively new kind of tourism - hippotourism. Specifically, the aim is to explain fundamentals of horse riding, give a insight into the history and present of horse riding, explain the system and methodology of riding trails, purpose of stations, cover how horses should be taken care of and point out what rider needs to arrange before setting off for the journey. Resources: I gathered the information mainly from Czech and foreign literature and I also used online resources. I tried to get as much as possible information about the topic and set it into comprehensible and easy to follow form Conclusion: While gathering information, I was surprised how very few people are engaged in horse riding with their works. There are only a few authors and publications that address this topic. Since it's inception horse riding has slowly but successfully developed. Only in Sumava, the area where I live in are located 17 registered stations and there is more than 117 stations in south region of BohemiaI also learned how important it is to plan the trip well and know the details about care of horses and the equipment. Návrh a možnosti realizace jezdeckých stezek v Slovensko-moravských Karpatech

In my thesis, I focused on the issue of equestrian tourism in the region of the Slovak-Moravian Carpathians. The thesis also deals with the overall question of equestrian tourism, its problems, real facts and conflicts with other interests and sports. Furthermore, the work analyzesthe current situation of already existing horse trails in the sphere of interest in The Czech and Slovak Republic. The second part identifies the problems of horse tourism of the concerned area where I suggest the appropriate riding paths including links to already implemented bridleways, taking into consideration all aspects of that territory.

Analysis of horse riding tourism and its infrastructure in the Central Bohemia region

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze equestrian trails of Central Bohemia Region with its whole infrastructure - from riding stables, where is possible to accommodate with the horse, over tethering sites, restaurants adapted to the stay with horses or other places to have a rest, up to direction signs and information boards. The thesis also contains theoretical information about the horse riding tourism like a form of a rural tourism. There are mentioned improvement proposals of equestrian trails and the the bachelor thesis should first of all help persons interested in the horse riding tourism in the Central Bohemia region.

Analysis of development of horseback riding tourism in the region of Českolipsko and Jizerské Mountains

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the current state of horseback riding tourism in the region of Liberec, focusing on Česká Lípa and Jizerské mountains. Secondary objectives include offering a summary of theoretical knowledge about horseback riding as a form of tourism; monitoring activities of the Equestrian Trails Association of Liberecký region and giving analysis of Liberecký region; analysis of supply of services connected with horseback riding tourism and analysis of demand for these services. The thesis should help people interested in horseback riding as well as owners of horse back riding facilities. It should mention the role of horses and the difficulty of their breeding, give the characteristics of Liberecký region, map the current state of equestrian trails, monitor the situation of services offered and demanded and compare the situation with other regions and an example from abroad.

Informační průvodce po hipostezkách v Pošumaví

Cílem bakalářské práce je představit hipoturistiku jako netradiční formu trávení volného času a zjistit, z jaké míry je uplatňována v oblasti Pošumaví a jaké dopady má na rozvoj cestovního ruchu v daném regionu. Plzeňský kraj představuje skrytý potenciál pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu a impulsem k nastartování může být právě hipoturistika, jelikož se jedná o jedinečný způsob, který spojuje pobyt v přírodě, poznání a budování vztahu ke zvířatům i k životnímu prostředí a již nyní přitahuje stále více pozornosti turistů. Součástí práce je vytvoření Informačního průvodce po hipostezkách v Pošumaví se zákresem tras a výletních okruhů do map.
