Monitoring of User Activities on Workstations
Skopal, Aleš ; Ráb, Jaroslav (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with proposal of a system for monitoring of user activities on workstations Windows XP over .NET 2.0 platform. The system should monitor running programs, processes and find out user activities in these programs like movement of the mouse or writing on the keyboard. A part of whole project is a suggestion of the system which contains specifications of requirements for this system, creation of the architecture, creation of important models, suggestion of the communication between separated part of system and final compile of results. The project should get information about user's activities and also information about usage of software installed on these workstations. The final system will be tested by use case study. Last but not least, project deals with ethic questions in the context of monitoring of users and discuss law questions about this project.
Data storage architecture for manufacturing processes
Homzová, Michaela ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Holek, Radovan (advisor)
This work is covering desing of database system which stores results of measerements performed on test stations which are part of assembly line.
Digital Storage Oscilloscope
Piši, Daniel ; Keprt, Jiří (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor project deals with design and implementation of PC based USB digital storage oscilloscope. The aim of presented measurement instrument is to fill the space between amateur constructions and expensive proffesional oscilloscopes. In addition to good measurement parameters and affordable price wants to engage by free licence and originality solution. The concept of whole construction shows measurement instrument as a system of independent modules bringing new possibilities of extending functionality.
Server load monitoring
Fišer, Martin ; Čejka, Rudolf (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a new system that will perform the server load monitoring and will be part of the KNOTIS information system. This thesis analyzes the problems of the server load monitoring system already implemented in KNOTIS. The entire new load monitoring system is based on data collecting, which is performed periodically on all servers where the monitoring is currently running. The collected data is checked and then stored in the database. Presentation of these data is made by creating clear graphs and tables that are plotted on the new KNOTIS pages that were also created as part of this thesis. The new system has been deployed and has been proven to significantly save overhead and database space.
Measurement module with simultaneous-sampling A/D converter
Křížek, Miroslav ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
In this work is designed programme unit for acquisition analog acoustic signlas from sensors. There is used accurate A/D converter ADS1287 by the company Texas Iinstrument with resolution of 24 bits to digitizing these signals. There is used 32-bit microprocessor AT91SAM7S64 by the company Atmel to control this A/D converter and sending digitized data to PC. This microprocessor has implemented USB interface. By force of developmental programme units whit microprocessor and A/D converter is produced programme for microprocessor in developmental setting IAR Embedded Workbench IDE 5.0 and simple aplication for PC in setting Borland C++ Builder. Both of those programs are in language C++. Rate of sampling is 26 kHz. On the basis is realized programme unit USB-ADC whit microprocessor and A/D converter.
PLC technology in data collection systems
Kolář, Jan ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Mišurec, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the use of PLC technology in data collection. The first part includes information about PLC. An analysis of types, properties and types of modulations of PLC focusing on the narrowband one is carried out. Used modems from Yitran company are described. Attention is also paid to creation of software for an application focused on data collection from simple sensors. The thesis incudes the description of two created applications required for the realization of data collection system. In the last part, measurement of packet loss dependence on distance is described. From the measurement it follows that the modems operate reliably with rising distance as well.
Analysis of Products Price Comparison
Varadinek, Jakub ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the development of the application for automatic price comparison of goods. The application works on the principle that the user enters inputs as a list of products and output is a list of offers from monitored dealers for all entered products. There is possibility for the user to create his individual settings for each website or use searching on existing comparison shopping website. Target group of users are dealers, distributors and manufacturers who use the data for monitoring competitors and changes in market prices.
Information and communication technologies in energetics
Stavinoha, Jakub ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the information and communication technologies used in the energetic. Problematic areas in energetic which are regulation, metering, control of waste minimalizations, expense and maximalization of earnings. These aspects lead to implementing expert systems, which have to process this bulk of information necessary for increasing efficiency and economization of single processes. Systems used in practice have their own hierarchical structure, where every application requires specific access of selection of used components that suit to the application. First of all it is about acceptable device selection in single level of the system: metering and regulation, data acquisition out of the process and informative layer. Suitable choice flowing from previous, already settled up application is possible to reach maximum efficiency of the whole system. In the thesis there are introduced systems used in practice and possibilities of increase the effectiveness of generation, transmission and distribution with ICT usage in distributed power generation. We are mainly talking about upgrade processes joined with power generation of energy, diagnostics, isolation states on the power line and usage of expert systems for distribution.
System for data acquire with Raspberry Pi
Ciprys, Michal ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This work deals with the collection of data from analog sensors, their storage and display using the Raspberry Pi microcomputer. In more detail it deals with selecting the appropriate analog-to-digital converter, selecting the appropriate storage and database server, web server and application to display the measured data.
Monitoring Service Properties of an IPFIX Collector
Kala, Jan ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Wrona, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis addresses possible ways of monitoring IPFIX collector, which is used for the collection of metadata about network traffic. The thesis briefly introduces the pro- blematics of monitoring and describes the current state of IPFIX collector, which is being developed by an organization called CESNET. It also describes service properties, which can be monitored during the process of data collection using the IPFIX protocol. A new plugin is described, which is intended for the collection and the export of service properties. The thesis describes an implementation and contains results of testing of the new plugin.
