Unified and Available Information and Controls of LaserGame Arenas
Vojík, Tomáš ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
In this work, I deal with creating a system for players and operators of the growing sport LaserGame. The primary motivation for creating such a system is creating a shared community across different arenas, regardless of the manufacturer of their LaserGame equipment. The finished application will work with the scores of various systems and provide more detailed statistics and tools for arenas that extend the capabilities of the manufacturer's design.       A web application was created and distributed in Docker containers in individual arenas as a solution. In addition, individual applications communicate using a REST API with one central server that collects the results.       The created system already meets all the basic requirements for the Evo5 system manufactured by LaserMaxx. It processes the results, presents them in a simple, visually attractive form to the players and synchronises the results on a public portal. There is a very positive response from the players to the changes.

Procedures of responsive design creating
Modrý, Lukáš ; Šimek, Pavel (advisor) ; Ladislav, Ladislav (referee)
This Master's thesis focuses on the issue of responsive design creation and comparison of the particular patterns aiming to customizable website. The theoretical part discusses the majority of available possibilities for achieving a responsive design and their general purpose. The practical part covers the use of the particular patterns on the specific web presentation. The thesis includes three similar websites using the responsive design particular patterns without frontend frameworks and, subsequently, their utilization. Their testing served as a means for recommendation for the practice. Another part of the thesis is the summarization of cascading style sheets development with the focus on the responsive design and comparison of two frontend frameworks selected by the author.
Graphic design of mobile and PC web applications
Čapek, Jan ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Chocholatý, Drahomír (referee)
The objective of bachelor's thesis is to find out, how to make graphic design of mobile applications. Thesis has two parts. At the beginning is described growth of mobile application market and terms about mobile devices. After this thesis describes, what is mobile application, identify difference between native applications and mobile web sites. Last section of teoretical part is about approaches how to design mobile applications. The second part is practical. There are chosen three applications, which will be tested, if their graphic design was created well. In case graphic design is not created well, there will be made solution, which removes lacks in graphic design of application. There will be also evaluated hypothesis, if graphic designers are making user friendly applications.
Modern Java frameworks for front-end of web applications
Jahoda, Lukáš ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Mittner, Jan (referee)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of selected frameworks for the development of modern web applications on the Java platform focusing on the front-end. The work is complemented by well-chosen source code examples that help the reader to create one's own view of the frameworks and it can also server as a tutorial. Introductory section focuses on the trends of modern web applications, especially on the front-end. It affects themes such as support for mobile devices, AJAX or responsive design of user interface. There are also introduced the latest technology on the front-end including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery library and dynamic language LESS whose main objective is the simplification, shortening and making cascading style sheets more dynamic. The output of this section: General LESS template is freely available and it can be applied to emerging projects. For the analysis there has been created static registration form on which there are applied frameworks Apache Wicket and Spring MVC with template engine Freemarker. In terms of analysis were chosen following points: the basic structure of the project, the application of static templates, external JavaScript / jQuery library, internalization, application of the form, submitting the form and validation of the input fields. The points were discussed in detail, especially in terms of implementation of both analysed frameworks. The outputs of the analysis are freely available structures of the projects and both of the resulting applications.
Interaktivní portál pro jazykovou výměnu a výuku jazyků
Ševčík, Michal
The topic of this thesis is design and implementation of an application for language exchange and language learning. The purpose of this application is to offer possibilities of searching language partners based on given preferences, arranging personal meetings and providing alternative types of communications with these partners. The thesis begins with survey of the current state in the field of this topic, identifies bottlenecks of current solutions and concisely depicts the importance of knowing foreign language. Ensued part of this thesis analyzes requirements of proposed application, The penultimate part covers implementation of application based on previous analysis and includes user interface and source code samples. Final part is dedicated to summary the results, recommendations for using the application, possible extensions and opportunities for promotion of the application.
